req — hi !! i know requests are closed but i really loved your itzy as girlfriends and i was wondering if you could write about itzy taking their so on a picnic date?? tysm :D

「 yeji 」

no one knows you better than yeji, so when she suggested you guys have a picnic on one of her rare days off, you knew it was her way of trying to relieve all of the stress you’ve been feeling lately. it’s so nice to take some time to just lay on a blanket in the sun with your favorite girl while she plays with your hair and two of you share a tangerine. it’s a healing time for both of you to reconnect and destress from the week you just went through. yeji tells you all of the idol gossip and you tell her about your two coworkers who are secretly dating.

“you can tell me anything,” she says, kissing your cheek sweetly. “i miss talking to you like this.”

「 lia 」

you and lia make all of the food you bring with you on your picnic: the little sandwiches, the cupcakes, fruit salad, even the lemonade. you spend the whole morning in the kitchen, laughing and making a mess and exchanging kisses until everything is ready and packed into a basket so big you have to carry it together, one of your hands and one of hers on either side of the handle.

it’s a sunny day, the kind where the sky is so blue it hurts to look at for too long. the two of you lay on your blanket and feed each other grapes while lia tries to convince you that the cloud directly to your left looks just like an elephant (you’re unconvinced).

「 ryujin 」

you’re the type of couple to bring games with you on your picnic. they’re nothing too exhausting if you’re not in the mood to run around, but you guys love playing board games. it’s something the two of you would never normally do together, but it’s so nice while you’re sitting outside in your favorite park surrounded by all of your favorite yummy foods.

sometimes, you let ryujin win just because of how happy she always gets, but eventually she usually catches on and tackles you over it, “you have to try this time! it doesn’t count if you’re letting me win!”

「 chaeryeong 」

you and chaeryeong would have the prettiest, most aesthetically pleasing picnics ever. and you wear cute matching outfits and take lots of pictures which you both post to instagram. midzy might know that you’re dating or they might not, but either way chaeryeong receives lots of lovely comments about her “very good looking friend.”

but it’s not really about how pretty everything looks or the posts on social media. picnics with your girlfriend are always so lovely because you get to relax and stop thinking about anything else. the two of you just get to sit and talk and eat for a while. it’s such a nice change of pace.

「 yuna 」

yuna is always taking videos and pictures of you to watch when you’re separated. she’s so bubbly and sweet the whole time because she finally gets to spend time with you without worrying about her job (no matter how much she enjoys it) or anything else. she can just relax with her favorite person.

you usually have your picnics later in the day, almost as a dinner, and then you walk around the park, saying hi to all of the ducks and squirrels you pass by. yuna takes a lot of pictures of you and the animals :)

CUTE THINGS THEY DO

HEESEUNG. is very cuddly when he’s sleepy. when he wakes up in the morning it takes him a while before he’s fully awake and conscious. he’ll snuggle up to you with a puffy face and messy bed hair, but it’s very endearing to see him that way. 

JAY. always fixes your hair. if the wind messed it up a bit and there’s stray strands here and there you can always count on him to fix them. always holds your hair back when you need it. if you’re going to eat something and don’t have a hair tie he makes sure your hair won’t get in the way. 

JAKE. whenever he’s too busy to see you he keeps you updates throughout the day with texts and short video calls if he can. he also likes to send you some pictures, but gets flustered when you respond back with compliments. 

SUNGHOON. has a hidden side where he’s a complete goof. he likes to hide behind things and wait for the right moment when you turn the corner and then jumps out to scare you. he also likes to tell corny jokes that are only funny cause they’re horrible.

you both went to spend time at the karaoke while the other members went to the arcade intentionally leaving you two alone knowing heeseung's crush, at first you both sing a lot of pop and trot korean songs and later when you're a bit tired, you put some slow romantic english song and while heeseung sits to listen as it's your turn. you sing a lyric containing the word baby turning to look him in the eye the moment you say the petname, both of your cheeks burning hot and heart beating fast, eyes locked as the song plays in the background. "are you flustered baby?" he asks when you turn away in an avoiding manner, giggling and laughing at you shying away. when it's his turn, he chooses a similar song and sings it while looking at you.

jay is busy, playing on his nintendo switch with all his attention invested in there. you on the other hand are trying to find your phone which niki stole minutes ago, moving around the dorm looking for a peek of it from somewhere he could have stuffed it in. just as jay is done with a level, passing it with satisfiable scores, you spot your phone right next to him on the couch deliberately close to him so you won't be able to see it. without realizing it slips from your mouth and jay is left stunned not being able to process your words,"baby can you please pass me my phone?" he silently gives you your phone while his mind keeps replaying your voice calling him baby and smiling and getting happy internally. remembers to you call you baby from next time.

𖦹 :: jaeyun

the boys have practice for an upcoming award show, so even when it's lunch time already they barely have time to go get some food and therefore you take up the job of asking each one what they want to eat and get it from the hybe cafeteria for them. when it's his turn it unintentionally slips from your lips,"baby what do you want?" he freezes the moment he hears you, and you purse your lips as he turns to look at you like 'what did you just call me?' with happy hearts in his eyes almost smiling. he thinks he hallucinated you calling him baby because of his massive crush on you but he swears you actually said it but then he needs to make sure it was real, "I'll have anything you get for me...baby?",and the look you give assures him it was.

you, him and jay are out spending your free time on the streets of hongdae, window shopping and shopping. at one point jay goes his own way, leaving you and sunghoon in another shop trying on a number of hats to find one which satisfies sunghoon enough to buy it. unfortunately it that shop you're unable to decide on one and end up leaving walking ahead looking through the shops to see if any other has good ones. it is then when you spot a black one which exactly like the imaginary one sunghoon had described, in excitement you beam,"look baby!" dragging him in and putting it on,"this one's perfect!" you don't realize it but he does, mumbling under his breath,"baby..- baby?" grinning and thinking about it for the rest of his life day.
