It's So Obvious To Me That The Chapter Of My Fic I'm Now Writing Is The One I've Been WAITING For

it's so obvious to me that the chapter of my fic I'm now writing is the one I've been WAITING for

the last chapter (which I posted a few hours ago) took me about a week to get past 1000 words

this one, I started 20 minutes ago and am at about 500 words, plus the only reason I'm stopping for now is because it's midnight and I need to go to bed

i think that writer culture (or really anyone creating characters) is talking about your characters using the most abhorrent, negative descriptors, but using the most loving and affectionate tone while doing so

"I HATE him he's awful and such a bastard" (<- talking about the protagonist of their story that they love dearly)

"they're the WORST they're such a dick and so stupid" (<- character that they have literally cried from happiness thinking about)
