The Doctor (understandably) will be like, “Obviously... OBVIOUSLY! I Do Not Trust You. You are an insane, manipulative, megalomaniacal, homicidal freak of nature, and have been for literally thousands of years.”

And the Master will be sincerely pissed off about this because they firmly believe that, despite attempting on numerous occasions to violently kill the Doctor and all of his friends, the Doctor is still their boyfriend and bff, and don’t really Get why he feels that their behavior should change the status of their relationship in any significant way.
