"Hast du Gäste?' Tom, unser bandassistent, sieht mich ausdrucklos an. Er ist nicht groß, dafür sehr muskulös, besonders im Gesicht. Davor ist noch eine riesige Hornbrille, hinter der man die Augen nur noch erahnen kann. Tom ist kurzsichtig, und vielleicht kommt er deshalb so nah an seine Gesprächspartner heran. Er arbeitet gerade daranm die Gästeliste zu vervollständigen. Da er keine Lust hat, kurz vor dem Konzert hektisch die Namen, die er ganz spät zugerufen bekommen hat, zum Einlass durchzugeben, fragt er lieber am frühen Nachmittag jeden, den er von der Band erwischen kann. ob er Gäste hat. 'Hast du Gäste', schreit er also gleich noch einmal, da ich noch nicht antworten konnte.(...) Um ihn jicht ein viertes Mal schreien zu lassen, schüttele ich schnell den Kopf und sage zur Sicherheit ganz deutlich: 'Nein danke, heute habe ich keine Gäste'. Tom nickt zufrieden, er hat sowieso mit keiner anderen Antwort gerechnet. (...) Aber wo sollte ich den hier in Budapest Gäste hernehmen.

Oliver, der Bassist, liegt in Sportzeug auf dem Sofa und versucht wieder einzuschlafen, denn Tom hat auch ihn gerade nach seinen Gästen gerfragt. Ich glaube nicht, das Olli hier Gäste hat. Aber ich weiß es natürlich nicht. Ich weiß leider so gut wie gar nichts über ihn. Zumindest habe ich keine Ahnung, was er denkt oder was er von dem ganzen Zirkus hällt.

Jetzt knallt die Tür gegen die Wand, und Till steht im Raum. Er schmeißt seine Tasche aufs Sofa und schreit 'TOM!!'. Gewusel im Flur. 'TOOOOM!. Tom kommt hereingestürmt und begrüßt Till hocherfreut. Dann beginnt er eifrig, die Namen der Gäste, die Till von diversen Zettelchen abliest, aufzuschreiben. Das will gar kein Ende nehmen. Tom blüht richtig auf. 'Kein Problem' sagt er 'die holen wir alle rein'. Manche der Namen sind nicht mehr richtig zu entziffern, aber es wird schon klappen."

Oliver, the bass player, is lying on the sofa in sports gear and tries to go back to sleep because Tom has just asked him too about his guests. I don't think Olli has guests here. But of course I don't know. Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about him. At least I have no idea what he thinks or what he thinks of the whole circus.

Now the door slams against the wall and Till is standing in the room. He throws his bag on the sofa and yells 'TOM !!'. Hustle and bustle in the hallway. 'TOOOOM !. Tom rushes in and greets Till with delight. Then he eagerly begins to write down the names of the guests, which Till reads from various pieces of paper. There is no end to this. Tom is really blooming. 'No problem,' he says, 'we'll get them all in'. Some of the names can no longer be deciphered correctly, but we'll make it happen."

PS. I swear somewhere I read about Schneider's (personal friends) and Richard's (family and close friends) backstage guests, but i can't find it in one of the books..might have been an interview or something..

We have a Rammstein song this episode at 0h35 'Der Meister' (which starts with 'Lauft!' (Run!)), Flake just comments it with "25 years old this song, oh god oh god oh god" 😊

After he talks about walking a marathon at the former border of east and west Germany, a lovely green area; don't ask him about the time it took him because he feels it shouldn't be about how fast he was ("just like with sex, i'm not saying '1.40!' haha!" 😁), either you don't talk about time at all, or you take your time (very philosophical of him 🍀).

He also walked a marathon when he went to the doctor's office and mistook the time, thought his appointment was at 10:30, turned out at 14:30, so he decided to take a walk to pass the time. Went to the doctor for a prostate exam... bet you didn't expect to learn that info 😁
