I keep coming up with so many misrepresentations of Annabeth, portraying her as cold and unbreakable, and I just wanna share my thoughts here about Annabeth Chase.

Annabeth is the most HUMAN character in all the books who constantly wears her emotions on her sleave.

She gets flustered when she has to enter to the tunel of love with Percy. She gets incredible exited about the monuments and the arch. She opens up to him about her story with Luke and Thalia. She gets annoyed when he assumes she wouldn't fight on his side if a war betwen the gods broke down, even though she already sees him as her friend. She's scared when they get to the underworld and instantly takes Percy's hand. Then theres the hole Cerberus thing with the ball that reminds her of her dog at her old house and then crying at the thought of leaving him alone. Annabeth giving Percy her necklace to protect him before his fight with Ares. And all of that and more only happends on the first book.

She shows every emotion she ever feels. Even when she doesn't want to. She cries when she's scared, she gets angry and jealous, she is funny and bold, she's creative and full of ideas and wonder, she is prideful and passionate about the things she loves. And Gods that she LOVE!!

She loves her father who didn't protected her when she most needed it and turned his back to her chosing his new family everytime. She loves Thalia, her sister who died and came back to life only to leave her again, to follow the gods, the same gods who were discussing if they should let her best friends live, the same one who did nothing when they were little kids running from monsters. She loves Luke who promised her a family and then betrayed her, and still, she loves him even when he hurts her time and time again. She loves her mother, a never present goddess but always watching and judging all the choices she makes. The one who tells her she is proud of her when she saves the world but wishes she wasn't her daughter a few months later.

And in spite of all of this Annabeth still loves with all her heart. She LOVES Percy, her best friend, her other part. She loves Grover, the friend who guided her to her new home. She loves Sally, the mother she never had and the woman she aspires to be. She loves Chiron, the father who taught her how to survived in a world full of monsters of all kinds. Annabeth loves all her siblings and friends who shared her live, fears, adventures, grief, happiness and so much more alongside her.

Annabeth is the queen of my life, with a heart of gold.
