Hi! I've talked about my egg eater before, but I'm now curious about something. You've said the effects of edd eating are largely based on the emotions of the individual when they eat their first egg (alongside other things).
So if a dragon like my egg eater eats an egg without knowing it (as his doctor uses them in his medcine and doesn't tell him), how could it effect the side effects?
I'll probably just do whatever is most convinent for my story, but I am curious what your thoughts on the matter would be :D
Oh, this is interesting! I believe that the effects would still be dependent on the emotions and mental state of the dragon, regardless of their knowledge of Egg Eating.
Since knowledge of egg eating usually begets negative emotions, a dragon who doesn't know what they are doing will probably gain more neutral/positive effects than negative ones.
I’ve been meaning to share him with you for a while—my own eggeater, from a custom, more primitive FR universe!
Elvolan, the outcast, egg-eater, and tiny terrifying bullet!

Hypergryph: Wasp Bee Flecks is such a gorgeous combo, especially with Elvolan's colors here.
He's led a turbulent life, hasn't he? Poor thing has lost so much, but I'm sure that has given him a sense of resilience to weather future storms. Though, resilience can be an asset or a detriment when picking up certain...new habits. The imagery of the mages and their dragon mounts remind me so much of the Dragons of Pern and other Science Fantasy stories(the Black Gryphon series comes to mind.)
Thank you for the wonderful submission!
Submissions Event ^^
Heyo! If you’ve submitted your own Egg Eater, just know that I’ll be reacting to and posting your submissions during a new weekly event called....
Submissions Sunday!!
It seems nice to have a weekly event to look forward to, no? Can’t wait to see all your evil little bastard dragons, and shame them for picking such bad role models ^^

Here’s a little weekend project I’ve been working on ^^

I’m So Sorry // by Nico Collins
How do you think something that's only masquerading as a dragon would be affected by monching eggs? As Shroud isn't a dragon, he's just something pretending to be one.
Personally I could see it having wild effects depending on what the creature is, and what kind of magic it has, but I wonder if the emotion rule would hold true?
Hypergryph:
I'd imagine that dragons are more structurally stable when it comes to magic. When you're hand crafted by elemental deities, how could you not be? Yet, magic that has been left to evolve on it's own may prove more wild and unstable. Maybe creatures would fall apart at the molecular level. Maybe, they'd gain more power they were every meant to wield, and thus their bodies would adapt. What a mysterious question...
