Guess Who's Back With Another Infected With The Egg Eating Bug? Shroud Is Apparently Very Convincing

Guess who's back with another infected with the egg eating bug? Shroud is apparently very convincing as he got his bestie, who's a normal SD, to monch eggs. Said bestie is named Striver. The two work together to feed their lord's power, with Shroud terrorizing sleeping parents, then Striver brining those nightmares to life.

It's not obvious in this picture, but he has glow eyes. I'm not sure what kind of powers he got from the egg monching, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Sorry for the delay, I've been spending time with my Mom, as she's been teaching me how to cook all her wonderful recipes. Been a bit preoccupied with cherry turnovers, onigiri, and enchiladas!

I read the short story in Striver's bio, and have to say it was riveting! How you incorporated the taste of the nature eggs was a fun callback to the flavor post! There's also a line in there that's food for thought. It's about losing 'humanity'. Do dragons have 'humanity' in the form that us humans do, or are there key differences? I always assumed that dragons were simply 'more' than humans, physically, mentally, and spiritually, so does that mean they are complex in ways we could never hope to be? Idk, but it's certainly something to chew on!

Striver is also extremely beautiful in his design and color! His blue-purple-red palette is broken up by his skin/ outfit in a way that makes him seem ornate. Also his glowy eyes are pretty neat^^

Unlike those that are drawn to egg eating by their own selfish desires, those that are tricked or goaded into egg eating are also victims themselves(though still not absolved of wrongdoing!). I wish him redemption, and reprieve from shroud's evil influence. Awesome submission!

Hello!! Ive been thinking myself and what if i made my girl Seraph into an egg eater of a different group and I dont really know what kind of side effects from egg eating she would have or if it really changes down the road from the first dragon egg that she eats. So i thought id come to you with a description of two times, one being the first egg, the second being the time when she finds out those are dragon eggs she has been eating.

Before egg eating and during the time of the first one. She is  naïve, sensitive, pretty airheaded at times but also a strong sense of justice, and kindness. The reason why she never knew that she was eating dragon eggs in the first place, was because she wasnt originally dragon but instead changed physically and magically into a dragon. Also how she got into egg eating is because of Six.((another dragon of mine)) Who also kept her in the dark for quite some time.

But now when she found out those were indeed dragon eggs, due to some external factor. She just.... spirals... Feeling things such as despair, undeserving of any second chance, including being locked away for all time. And just massive amounts of guilt. Wishing that the countless eggs she had already eaten and that her group ate could of been undone and brought back. Yet what had been done is already done.

I would love to hear what you have to say about this and could offer some pointers on how to develop this! Thanks!

Hmm... This is a REALLY interesting case you have here. When beastclan(I'm assuming she was beastclan?) ingest dragon eggs they gain powers that align with the element of the egg, the power level of which is decided by their own strength of will. So, while a dragon might gain powers based on their personality/character, a beastclan being will(more predictably) gain elemental-based powers.

Let's say, two raptoriks with equally strong wills yet opposing personalities eat fire eggs. They will both gain fire-based powers of equal strength, with no dependence on their character traits. The raw magic simply overpowers their own personal magic. However, if two dragons eat fire eggs, their personal magic is strong enough to merge with the egg's raw magic, resulting in more unpredictable powers.

I think...you may have to consider how being transformed into a dragon has affected her magical signature. Eaters can only gain powers once, but is this true in Seraph's case? Having eaten eggs before her dragon form would have given her elemental powers for sure, but since all dragons ALREADY have an element, would this render her magic as basic as every other natural-born dragon?

It could possibly open her up for another chance to gain a power when she eats eggs a second time, but seeing as she doesn't know they're eggs, her guilt won't necessarily affect her 'new' powers after the fact.

Hey, so Riot's ability works by dragging up bad memories from someone's past and then magnifying the reaction, sending the victim into a blind rage. It can be resisted or shrugged off completely if someone has just. Made peace with all their bad memories or if someone just has great control over their emotions.

Who would be most affected?? And who would be least affected??

Most of them would be overcome with emotion. Khoga and Matthias, though, would be my best bet for holding it together. 

A funny thought that came into my head: do the Talosians ever say "By Lord Talos this cannot be happening" ?

This begs the question-

Elemental eggs are all seen to be rather......... delicate. Perhaps with a few exceptions, like ice and earth. But how is a Noc egg opened? On the subject of hard to open eggs, due to the way the were released, are the "unhatched banescale eggs" a rarity? Would they cause something different or new considering?

Noc Eggs seem to be covered in plates, so they'd have to be pried open with a tool.

Oh, I assume they'd be extremely rare! Having the influence of their parents' ancient protection spell(their song) could have changed the Banescale eggs raw magic in some way. Perhaps this influence is even present in all future generations' magic as well, and is simply a part of them.

I imagine this protection enchantment is strongest within the eggs, making it nearly impossible for any dragon to harm them ( example: the egg doing unexplainable things at opportune moments, like disappearing if an Egg Eater is searching for it, or the shell becoming momentarily indestructible to prevent intentional breakage). With this in mind, the results of eating a banescale egg have yet to be discovered.
