This Is The First Of My Flight Rising Recipes For My Egg Eater Clan, Genshin Impact Style! Care To Try

This is the first of my Flight Rising recipes for my egg eater clan, Genshin Impact style! Care to try some Chilled Chisel Nicoise? It’s minty fresh and contains  a primal chill ^^

A recent post got me thinking about the effects that different dragon eggs had upon consumption. Of course, this then led to a deep-dive on different cuisines, which led to me questioning how to apply that to my egg eater lore. (Also I’ve been enamored with the Genshin artstyle of their food and items and dying to try and emulate it)

Anyways, I’ll be making these for the rest of the night. Lmk if you have any recipe suggestions, I just might make one!

So the deities are the bad guys.

This is the only way I’ve really been able to rationalize Flight Rising’s canon and I know it’s not a new conclusion, but I want to talk about it some.

The deities are the bad guys. They’re the villains. Not because they fight the shade but because they are written to be incredibly selfish. They have this incompetence to them that borders on childish and some kind of inability to consider the wants or needs of anyone around them.

There’s an alternate timeline somewhere in which they emerged from slumber and adopted the life that was already there. There was an entire world full of people they ignored and consequently destroyed in favor of making dragons for themselves.

And not even those dragons are exempt from this, railroaded into a single purpose and pushed into combat with both each other and the remnants of the world they replaced.

Windsinger can mess around with the jet streams without once thinking of the consequences. Icewarden seems to have made the Gaolers without the ability to tell him ‘no’ which is phenomenal. Gladekeeper and Plaguebringer endlessly bicker with each other on a grand scale and cause shortage of destruction.

They are sentient concentrations of magical power who learned far too late that they’re not the only living things on the planet. I suppose one could take the current age as an opportunity… for their draconic children to either teach them empathy, or rise above them.

:D :D You said it! rails-reads really captures the energy of each poem, even better than I could have imagined! Such raw emotion in his voice! I’m so thankful to this talented person, please check them out!

Part 2 of SolAurii’s journey through Sornieth, immortalized in poetry! This one really ramps up the emotion into fascinating places–the sorts of thing I love to try, but never get the opportunity to. Part 3 coming, you guessed it, tomorrow!

Just like before, this was written by (and belongs to) LordTalos on FR, or @hypergryph here on Tumblr. Want to read more or submit your own work to be read here? Check out the links below!
