I was reading Phyrric's story and it really captured me honestly, I have a similar wildclaw dragon with a story of a curse that hurt her as hatchling and caused her to not be really accepted even as an adult. I never wrote down her story(I should have). Her sickness/curse caused her to have a feral bloodlust, killing anything anyone, because her animal insticts kicked in very heavily. Sorry this is not an ask I just found your dragon's story interesting ^^°
she sounds like a really intense character, one that would leave people on the edge of their seats for more. Especially if her story was in the drama/mystery genre. If you ever feel like writing down her story/lore lmk, I'd LOVE to read about her ^^
also heck yeah, tragic wildclaw characters 4LIFE!!

⭐️✏️⚔️ For the ask meme!
Excellent combination! Let's see what the Talosians have in store...
⭐️Is your clan healing magic based? Apothecary based? Surgical? A strange combination?
When it comes to health, the Talosians look to one subclan in particular: The Orcas. The few yet knowledgeable Orcas use their skills to both strengthen the spirit and fend off illness. They're well known for producing a special medicine that have been condensed into perfectly spherical shapes, colored in a rainbow of hues, that stand roughly the size and shape of owl's eggs. The effects of these pills can range from curing a minor headache, to acting as an antivenin, to making one's scales just a tad glossier. There're even ones meant to be dropped into hot water for the joy of watching it fizz! Upon visiting the Mountain, you'll find it quite a common sight to see dragons carrying their own personal pill satchels.

✏️What are real world influences that have been implemented into your clan’s design or culture?
Oh, this is a tough one. Let's see... The attitudes of the Talosians are very VERY loosely based on a blend of Ancient Chinese, Ancient Japanese, and Ancient Roman royal living. I wanted there to be both extravagant wealth and power as well as a rich and beautiful culture that my dragons could revel in and explore. That said, design wise I love to look at cartoons and anime to explore more expressive designs.
⚔️How do they get along with beastclans? Is there tension even if they get along well?
Oh, they absolutely adore the neighboring family of harpies. It's a bit of hidden lore that the neighboring harpies struck a deal with the informant Mismallo to help her gather information. However, with more frequent visits from harpies, came the curiosity and awe of Talosian citizens. Many families were eager to introduce themselves to their neighbors, and being so isolated most have never even seen beastclan beings. Many sent gifts, and those gifts became a respected ritualistic offering to their harpy friends. While harpy visits are uncommon, they are always welcomed with festivals in their honor.

Aww see? They freaking love the harpies, look at em. It's like the opening week of PokemonGo
Your recent animatic looks great! What's the song name and who sang it?
Ah, the song is called Nowhere King from the recently released Centaurworld on Netflix!

🎀Does certain clothing mean anything in your clan? Colors or items signal a rank or status like marriage, warrior, healer?
Excellent question! Talosians are VERY fond of their clothing, and almost have an unhealthy obsession with rare/fine textiles. However, there are certain trends that have been observed between the different classes. For example, Commoners, who are the most fond of gladiator matches, are the most inclined to wear leather and fur. The Royals and Elite Council members are more likely to be wearing fragile silks, and only those in the Scholars' circle would have the audacity to wear those silly little feathered hats.

⚔️How do they get along with beastclans? Is there tension even if they get along well?
They absolutely adore the neighboring harpy flock! I go further into their relationship with the harpies in the previous ask(it's really cute, so pls check it out!) but I didn't mention that the harpies also gift things like shed claws and bundles of molted feathers to the Talosians, who incorporate it into their clothing or decorations.
🌧How do they lay their dead to rest? Is it a cemetery? A hall of the dead? An item crafted to remember them by?
Oh, this is a sad one...When a Talosian dies, they are laid to rest in a special mausoleum called the Hall of Remembrance. The Hall of Remembrance is lined with coffins of the deceased, each made from a material chosen by the deceased to reflect their spirits(or by their closest friends and family should the death be sudden). Along with this, an indoor garden and pools of Koi fish are illuminated by a great window, allowing nature to provide natural lighting for those wishing to visit by day or by night...A great section of these coffins are made from polished morganite, a reminder of the long lives the dragons within should have lived, cut short by betrayal...

❤️How are hatchlings raised? By the clan? Just the parents? Just one parent? Is there a nursery for eggs? How is that set up if so?
While there is no collective nursery, there are special programs and traditions in place for the health/wellbeing of the parents(especially the mother) during the laying period. Hatchlings are raised within the family, and within the subclan, HOWEVER...all hatchlings are required to attend school together for a minimum of 16 years, along with any additional studies that their subclan provides them. So, an obsidian hatchling would undergo 16 years of General Talosian Studies with Subclan extra curriculars, and afterwards would be able to choose to further the course of study they'd prefer. Nobody is trapped within their clans either, as an Ivory could easily choose to study within the Aurum or Cerulean subclans after their 16th year, should they wish.
