~ You were taken from Jasper Nevada High School. Knockout thought you were one of the autobot pets since you hung around the kids all the time. But you were just in their classes and were nice to everyone so you hung out with them on occasion for school and just because. So one minute you were listening to music on your headphones heading home after a long day of classes the next you were being taken!!!

~ A quick car chase later with a purple blue and green portal taking you somewhere you’ve never been and you wonder if you accidentally inhaled paint fumes you weren’t supposed too in the art lab. Everything is so surreal that your in shock. When you realize this is real as the car your in suddenly becomes a giant metal person your not sure whether you should be scared or amazed. Giant metal beings that can transform! That’s so cool!

~ Knockout realizes his mistake pretty quickly and gets bored but rather than squishing you and ruining his paint job he leaves some vehicons to watch you as he goes to Megatron and the other higher officials to find out what they should do with you. Surely someone has an idea.

~ Your completely oblivious to the current danger your in and are just in amazement. Placed in an empty cube of energon in a large room where you can see computers and various cons working you begin humming and take out your sketch pad from your bag. The vehicon watching you notices and you smile and ask them to pose. They aren’t sure what to do but stay still simply because their curious. Awhile later you tear away a piece of paper from your pad before holding it up to the glass showing them.

~ The vehicon is so impressed they grab some of their buddies hoping you’ll do more. You smile and gift them the paper you did to keep after taking a picture on your phone. You spend the rest of the day in the cube drawing and talking with the vehicons. You learn their called decepticons and that their a species from another planet that have come to your planet in search of their rare food source and allies. Apparently their in some kind of war and they’ve been hiding on your planet in plain sight p. It’s fascinating and gives you a ton of ideas for a story to write as you listen.

~ You get kind of hungry as it gets late so your glad you have snacks in your backpack. Your a bit worried about coming home late as your phone shows hours have passed but your too excited talking to your new friends to think too hard on it. One of the vehicons even picks you up in the energon cube and takes you to the window when you ask. You begin to sketch the stars eyes wide in amazement. You tell stories about different mythology around the stars late into the night before you eventually pass out. The vehicons take shifts watching you through the night and even find some fluffy spare towels for you to use as blankets, so you won’t be sore when you wake or cold while you sleep.

~ The meeting with the higher up goes on for hours. When it’s finally over your deep in your sleep still obvious to the possible danger your in. The cons have decided you’ll either be a bargaining chip against the autobots, a test subject to learn about organics, or a random causality in the never ending war. When Megatron marches up to the energon cube your imprisoned in, ready to start negotiations and either make use of you or be rid of you he becomes more than a little impressed that you’ve befriended the vehicons guarding you so quickly. They don’t defy him of course but they show him your artistic talent and beg for you to be spared stating your not like other humans and maybe they could learn something from you.

~ Seeing your artistic abilities a small pang forms in Megatron’s spark. He remembers a time before the war when he enjoyed viewing art and writing poetry after a long shift in the mines. He finds humans disgusting and inferior but perhaps just this once he’ll make an exception for a kindred spark. He changes his plan and decides rather than an bargaining chip you’ll become a turning point in the war. After all the autobots humans helped them he’s sure you could help the decepticons. And if not he could always squish you later.

~ When you wake up your brought to Megatron and your in shock. Your now pretty hungry having only that snack from yesterday in your system and some water from your water bottle. The excitement mixed with fear mixed with your hunger makes you a bit dizzy. Plus you kind of thought this was all a crazy dream. As you stare at Megatron you see how your new friends react and bow just like them. He chuckles tapping the energon cube your in before humming.

“The vehicons tell me your designation is (Y/N) is that correct?” He questions red optics peering into your soul.

“Yes sir.” You respond quickly holding your sketchpad nervous.

“I have a proposition for you.”

~ You become a liaison of sorts, an honorary decepticon. A decepticon insignia on a necklace is gifted to you for you to wear around your neck. (It acts as a tracking device but also a sign that your theres) The true Decepticon cause is kept from you and a simpler less dark version is told, what the cause once was and not what it has become. You help the cons understand your world and explain a lot of cultural and social things as well as how humans physically and mentally work. Any questions they have you do your best to answer and if you don’t know you do some research so you can tell them later.

~ Megatron leaves your care to mechs like Knockout and SoundWave but everyone takes part in watching you. It’s also clear to everyone the warlord has a soft spot for you. You have a way of worming your way into people’s sparks with your kindness and bubbly nature. Your talents also make you an easy person to approach and your always willing to listen to stories or chat.

~ Breakdown and Knockout pick you up every day after school since their car modes. If they can’t do it because their on a mission one of your many vehicon friends does. Knockout has strict rules when you drive inside him while Breakdown could care less what you do as long as you don’t hurt him or yourself. The vehicons don’t mind whatever you decide to do in their cab (play music/eat/drink/sketch) as long as you don’t spill food that’s just an unpleasant experience. Megatron and SoundWave have offered to fly you to the Nemesis on occasion but as a high schooler in a small town you explained a jet or plane may be very suspicious. 

~ Since your now an official member on their team organic food is kept on the ship for you since organics need fuel to live. Typically it’s stored in the Medbay but SoundWave always has snacks on him for you. Vehicons also begin carrying around food as you hang around them a lot. If there isn’t anything on the Nemesis you like or want and you’ve been good someone will take you for Fast-food as a treat. (Knockout enjoys this the least but likes your smile the most)

~ SoundWave is tasked with keeping a tab on your physical and mental needs, Megatron doesn’t want this little experiment to die any time soon. He’s not fooling anyone its really because he likes you and wants you comfortable but SoundWave says nothing. SoundWavd forges a fake and prestigious art program at your school and sends an email to your parents saying you’ve been invited to an afterschool activity so they don’t get suspicious of your long periods of absence. So now you spend long hours on the Nemesis answering their questions, experimenting with your art, and doing homework. Sometimes when SoundWave has to send you home via ground bridge he gets jealous because he wants you to stay.

~ You don’t just draw the cons soon discover as you spend more time on their ship. You are very creative, you draw, paint, college, journal, sculpt, spray paint, take photos, mess around on photoshop, make music, write stories and poems. The list goes on and on as your a very creative and knowledge soul for a human. A space is made for you since you visit so often and the cons find themselves poking their head in to see your latest project when your gone or they miss you (often the project is based on the con you’ve decided to focus your muse on) Every project that’s gifted is stored away somewhere safe and many of your larger pieces are hung in various Rec rooms where cons will hang out.

~ Breakdown is the most interested about human culture and you. He asks a ton of questions (some insensitive, some not) about your species and how they work. He’s fascinated with the fact that humans have evolved so quickly and yet they have so far to go. He enjoys your company in the Medbay and as he cleans tools he’ll ask you about your latest projects and school and your life. Breakdown also checks to make sure your eating and drinking since sometimes you get so excited on the ship you forget. When you need to stretch your legs he’ll put you on his shoulder and take you to the energon mines to walk around. He’s done this once or twice so you can see what their doing on Earth and learn more about them but he always gets nervous if you stay too long and won’t tell you why.

~ Pretty soon Knockout is just as invested as Breakdown and falls in love with you just like his conjux. He is very protective making sure you don’t get hurt on the Nemesis and is always checking on your health asking you questions about how your feeling and if you’ve been excersising enough. Your just too kind and sweet and your always on this ship full of bad people. He worries something will happen. It takes him awhile since he gets irked by humans and their organic nature but eventually Knockout starts holding you in his servos and puts you on his shoulder like Breakdown. Having you in the Medbay becomes second nature and he enjoys the talks you all have as they work.

~ They quickly learn all your favorite songs and artists since your music is always playing in the Medbay. A space is cleared and made for you on a typically empty table so you’ll spend hours doing projects while they do their busy work. However, when there’s an actual Cybertronian being operated on they’ll shoo you out not letting you see. Sometimes you’ll walk in after someone has died or been operated on and the energon splashes being cleaned and the smell makes you wonder what’s wrong with the autobots who did this. Breakdown and Knockout always take your mind off it though and pretty soon its just a distant memory you don’t focus on. One of their greatest fears is one day you’ll see something that can’t be unseen or that you’ll figure out what side their actually on.

~ After a month or you two you begin getting more bold. You wander around the ship a lot trying to map it out. You have free reign except for a few areas that the cons are very strict about. The Nemesis can be confusing so sometimes you get lost in these areas but a vehicon or SoundWave always find you and take you back to the main hall of the ship. Little ramps, stairs, and runways are installed around the ship so you can get around easier. Although most cons prefer to just carry you or put you on their shoulder strut.

~ SoundWave despite being emotionally distant checks in on you the most when your out of the ship. Often it’s through your phone sending a simple text message or email asking for updates or giving you information like who’s picking you up or what’s going on the ship but the mech has been known to silently watch you work on your art for hours or gift you things when you seem sad. His love language is silent but its obvious he cares for you a lot. He’s the one who made your art studio/sleeping space on the ship and keeps your organic food stocked.

~ If SoundWave is busy and can’t check on you Lazerbeak will check in on you for him and report back. It’s a little scary at first since SoundWave doesn’t talk but soon you two have your own language and become really close. His sound clips and videos always make you laugh and the memes he sends you when your sad are hilarious. Other times you’ll sit in silence for hours turned into each other depsite not talking. Other cons swear you too are secretly telepathic.

~ Starscream does not like your presence on the ship at first and finds your organic nature gross. He starts hesitating to go to the Medbay because of you. How Megatron has fallen so far the con doesn’t know. However, the seeker must admit your kindness is something he’s not used too and he begins to crave it. Whenever your around Megatron is less violent and it makes the Seeker more at ease. You always give him and the other cons compliments as well and he begins preening before entering a room with you in it so he looks extra impressive. Soon instead of dreading you he starts seeking you out. He really starts liking you after you ask to draw him saying something about how sleek his form was. As he poses letting you draw away he thinks maybe it’s fine that your organic. Slowly an odd relationship forms between the two of you.

~ SoundWave likes when you sing. You don’t do it often but sometimes when he’s watching you or you think your alone you begin humming. You were humming softly to yourself one day when you suddenly pulled out a pencil and your journal. With one hand you drew music notes and lyrics in your journal while the other tapped along to the beat you we’re making. SoundWave quiet enjoyed Cybertronian and Earth music and found himself fascinated with the process. He also adores your camera, both the polaroid and digital one. For obvious reasons your not supposed to take pictures of the ship but he enjoys when you open your laptop and show him projects you’ve done and pictures you’ve taken other places. He records all the stories you tell and makes a special folder in his memory for just you.

~ When your tired or sleepy on SpundWaves watch but its not time for you to go to your house SoundWave will eject Lazerbeak. You two will lay down together Lazerbeak acting as a warm blanket as you watch a movie or show as SoundWave works. His digits will play with your hair or give you back scratches to show he’s paying attention and multitasking. If you fall asleep sometimes he’ll hold you as you sleep but other times he’ll take you to your room so you can rest. He starts keeping blankets and pillows in his subspace for when you fall sleep. Other cons take his lead as you begin falling asleep on them as well having grown comfortable with them. Something about that fact that you trust them so much to be so vulnerable around them keeps their sparks soft.

~ Starscream enjoys taking you for flights. He likes the way your eyes light up as you stare at the night sky in wonder or watch the cities blurring below as he speeds by. He tells you stories of Cybertron and you hang onto every word as he speaks. Sometimes if he’s in an especially good mood he’ll do tricks with you in his cockpit. Loops and twirls and somersaults. The way you smile and give him praise makes his spark thrum and when you compliment him after its a huge ego boost.

~ As a seeker Starscream also has the inevitable urge to nest. He collects soft things and bunches them together on a makeshift nest on his berth. When you both get closer it’s his nest where you two spend a lot of time together just talking and telling stories. You’ll share about your life and your projects and passions and he’ll talk about his old life and the most beautiful Cybertronian city Vos. It’s here in quiet moments you cuddled against his cockpit or neck cables he’ll even tell stories about ThunderCracker and SkyWarp. It’s here he forgets the war and realizes there are still good things in the world.

~ The longer you begin visiting with the cons the more the shifts begin getting chaotic after awhile. Knockout and Breakdown argue as medics they should spend more time with you but Starscream says he’s the better lair and good at masking the truth of the decepticon side to you while SoundWave states he’s the most experienced with caring for things. Their not above mentioning how other cons didn’t even want you when you first showed up. SoundWave tries making a schedule but its found he’s giving himself more time which leads to an uproar. The poor vehicons just try to stay out of the superiors way and usher you out of the war when a fight starts. Eventually the cons let you go to who you want to hang out with for the day or if you go to your art studio whoever gets to you first gets to hang out with you.

~ Hanging out with Breakdown and Knockout so much in the Medbay you begin learning about Cybertronian antomony and how cybertronians work. You could be a full on Cybertronian doctor with how much you study and draw their frames and joints but your a fleshy so your kept away from spilled energon. Knockout does enjoy watching you do your autonomy sketches though and will pose even if you don’t ask him too. Starscream is the exact same way and they both hoarde your art loving when you do peices focusing on them.

~ Knockout teaches you to paint his paint job. You already know how to paint so he’s just a different canvas after all! You become an expert buffer and car decal painter by the months end. Breakdown thinks its a little silly but you seem to enjoy it and it helps Knockout appreciate your artistic talents more. Both Knockouts and Breakdowns office in the Medbay are now covered in drawings, paintings, and collages you’ve done for them. After a long day they’ll look at them and smile. 

~ When Knockout begins to long for your company when your not around and miss your voice/music when your with your parents he begins making rituals and traditions to take up your time when you are around so he can make the most of it. He starts taking you on his little earth excursions. Friday night drive ins become a weekly ritual and whenever he gets the chance he sneaks you away for a drag race. The way you scream in excitement and stick your arms up as he speeds down the road is the cutest thing! He brags about it to Starscream who huffs in response and tries to snatch you away for a flight. The fights between them about who your favorite is are hilarious since neither of them liked you at first.

~ Megatron wasn’t 100% sure of you at first but as time goes on he finds himself liking you more and more. Your presence is calming and your always a refreshing person to talk too. You remind him of a time before war, a time when people could indulge in their dreams and passions. When he’s bored in his throne room you’ll often be on his chair arm drawing while he goes through data pads.

~ If Megatrons in a particularly good mood he may put his work away and hold you in his servos as he talks about his planet before the war. Stories that have been lost for eons he will whisper to you as he reminisces about the past. He enjoys that starstruck look in your eyes as you stare at him taking the story in. Perhaps organics and humans aren’t so useless after all.

~ Cons fighting over who your favorite is happens a lot. SoundWave insists its him but Knockout and Starscream are quick to argue that. They all love you so much its a bit ridiculous. When you talk about home sometimes they get jealous because the Nemesis should be your home, they should be your home. You don’t need other friends you have them! Of course they keep these thoughts to themselves but some mechs have a harder time hiding their jealousy than others. Starscream especially gets huffy when he feels you like someone more than him.

~ The entire con ship is fiercely protective of you. You do not know the full truth but you don’t need to know it, to you their just your friends. Besides their plans have changed, they still want to cyberform and control your planet but you, your family, and your friends will be safe. Humans will not be wiped out but gathered up and placed in non cyberformed areas where they can live out their lives in controlled colonies. You will be safe on the Nemesis none the wiser to the new world below you.

Writers at hasbro can’t decide whether or not Starscream is either a comic relief backstabber who often gets smack around by Megatron or has a complex and sympathetic character who suffered under Megatron 

Which the whole issue can be resolved if they just used Thundercracker and Skywarp more 

Like Thundercracker’s thing is that he’s having doubts with the decepticons so why not have him be the sympathetic one who’s having issue with  Megatron’s lead at the decepticons 

And Skywarp’s the goofy prankster with his warping so he’d be better in comic relief role who gets smacked around by Megatron 

Having these two around means Starscream gets to be smart and competent who’s secretly planning to backstab but Megatron still keeps him around despite obvious signs of him being a backstabber because Starscream is very good at his job

sorry this is a little short! I've never dyed my hair so its not too detailed...also I can't write for Drift that well but enjoy :D

MTMTE Drift x human!Reader

“So how does this stuff work?”

“Uh, its basically some chemicals and coloring that go in your hair to color it however you want. Did you know some people even do some designs with it? On their hair??" You grin as you explain to Drift. The mech meanwhile held the small dye containers in his much bigger servos, careful to not squish them. He still looked pretty confused, but he was determined to help you do something that excited you. You talked about doing this for days before they somehow managed to find imported dye that was safe for you.

You had mentioned you wanted to dye your hair to Drift, which got him curious about what you meant. You invited him over to your hab suite to show him, and here you were now. To be fair, you didn't quite think this through much. All the supplies you needed were a bit too small for Drift to help like you imagined, but you had an idea in mind that just might work.

"Hey Drift, why don't you pick the color?" You asked him with a grin, while your hands were working at your hair, attempting to separate it into parts. Drift's optics flashed brightly for a second as his mouth moved in an "o" shape.

"Me? I'm delighted, but shouldn't this be your choice?" He slightly tilted his helm as he glanced from the three dyes you managed to get. You laughed and shook your head.

"I want you to pick it out, Drift. Something to show off to the rest of the crew, yeah?"

You heard him mutter a "well alright.." as he made his decision.

It took a few seconds before he pointed to a color, it was a bright f/c. You grinned and took the bottle of dye and started to follow the directions. You tried to answer pretty much any question Drift had, he was rather curious about this artistic form of human expression, as he put it. You also explained what was going on as you applied the dye mix to your hair in sections. He was absolutely shocked that the process of dying your hair was producing a decent amount of heat.

"Why is your hair generating heat all of a sudden?" He retracted his digit from the top of your head with a concerned expression crossed on his face. That's when you had to explain it was the chemicals working their magic.

After some time it was time to rinse off the dye and see the results, well, after your hair dries. Drift obviously waited outside while you washed your hair. Honestly, a part of him was excited to see how it would turn out. Hopefully, he made the right color choice, what if you didn't like it? What if it didn't turn out how you wanted? No, he shook his helm. You knew exactly what you were doing, even if he didn't.

You rinsed out your hair now, even if it was still wet, the color turned out pretty good. You grin to yourself in the mirror and rush outside to show Drift.

"Drift! Drift! How does it look?" Your damp hair swung around your head as you turned to show him different angles. Drift shot up from his original spot and leaned down to get a better look, he gently swept you up on his servo to hold you directly in front of his face.

"It worked? Wo- Y/N, you look great. F/c looks fantastic on you!" He softly smiled, admiring the new color of your hair. You felt your face heat up from the compliments and his gaze and dismissed it with a laugh.

"Well, you did pick it out, huh?" You'll admit, you liked the color more than you expected. Was it specifically because Drift specifically picked it out? Obviously not.

"Ah, well..hey! Let's go show the rest of the crew."

"Wait, it's not dry yet-" But it was too late, Drift was already carrying you on his servo as he left your room, probably looking for just about any bot to brag to.

The entire day you received compliment after compliment after Drift would exclaim, "hey everyone! Look what y/n did, doesn't she look stunning?" Hell, you even got a couple color recommendations from a couple bots. Quite a few actually, you had to ask Drift to remember the list of colors. The next time you decide to dye your hair, you will be sure to invite Drift over to help again.

Also still very curious about this…no rushing ofc…
