WHY IS HOYOV LIKE THIS.

There has to be a time when Ratio was just learning to sculpt. Like just figuring out the proper way to hold and maneuver and hammer and chisel, or struggling to keep his clay from collapsing in on itself. Maybe when he was in Uni he took a sculpting class to fill his schedule out more and he found himself completely enamored with the artform.

Art isn't a one and done thing like math or science can be, you don't learn and then finish. It takes time, effort, practice. Even if you think you know everything it still takes failure after failure to learn and progress. I think that's why Ratio would like art so much, because, without fail, there's always something to learn and new struggles to overcome.

I think Ratio would be really passionate about art, if he went to a museum with someone he would prattle on and on about the methods and styles of every different painting or statue they came across.

He'd find every creation to be so fascinating in a completely different way than anything logic related is fascinating.
