The ironic part about this is that all of it is just because 9/11. They used to have like next to no security in airports until 9/11 happened and then america made the TSA and now us regular citizens have to wait in several lines bored and tired out of our minds ToT

A PSA about trucks from a truck driver
I and some colleagues were talking about how we wish everyone could see the safety videos that our company was showing us, because I don’t think most people understand how traffic works in a truck. So here’s some things we wish everyone on the road knew.
- we’re not kidding about tailgating. If you’re right behind us on a straight highway? Chances are we have NO IDEA you’re there, which means we can’t anticipate any of your movements. Plus slowing down takes multiple downshifts, so we might start decreasing speed way earlier than you expect.
- We’re not kidding about any of our blind spots. WE CAN’T SEE YOU, GUYS.
- That bit about slowing down taking a while? The same goes for when you’re in front of us. Don’t cut off a truck. Oh god, PLEASE don’t cut off a truck. If you cut me off, I’m not irritated, I’m terrified. For YOU. It can take 7 to 9 seconds for us to stop. DON’T CUT OFF TRUCKS.
- Before you get mad about how slow we’re going on the highway, keep in mind that many companies govern their vehicles so they literally CAN’T go over 60 or 65. This is a good thing, I promise. Because…

I've tracked down verifications for as many as i could, and will list them all here with links and update this list should another be sent in.
I cannot stress this enough. As of writing this, the siege on Gaza has been happening for almost a year. Most non-profit organizations at this point have incredibly limited reach in the area (if they still have any at all), and thus the most surefire way of helping is via sending money directly to those impacted. If you for whatever reason doubt the legitimacy of a campaign listed here, I humbly request you keep it to yourself. It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. This is Mohammed, and his daughter Mona. Mohammed is my friend.
Their home was destroyed by Israeli missile strikes, and like many other Palestinians they're currently living out of tents after being displaced.
Mona has been in and out of medical treatment, as she's been getting many infections over the past several months due to unsanitary and unsafe living conditions.
Every day is a challenge for these two and their family. Cost of living has skyrocketed as daily necessities are in short supply.
