new headcanon . it's mind again. he's learned to space out really easily, mainly just because he gets tired of listening to heart's arguments sometimes . but sometimes he can do a sherlock style and go to his "mind palace" where he just sits there like doing nothing but silently Contemplating . sometimes he cant have anyone else in the room to distract him, and sometimes he's so engrossed with his thoughts that he doesnt even realize someone like tapping him or talking to him till they start yelling his name
