I have an ungodly amount of Charlie doodles that I drew in my notebooks over the school year, and knowing my lazy ass I'm never gonna digitalize them so you're getting them like this.
I'm not gonna explain any of them, enjoy. :'D

I ran out of hairstyle ideas so I drew random angst instead, don't take it too seriously-
Charlie facts under the cut cuz I gotta put em somewhere.
She likes to give people nicknames, and after she comes up with a good one she really likes to use it.
She lives in a treehouse somewhere in the woods, beneath the tree is a cave in which she hides her treasure. The treehouse doesn't have a kitchen or a bathroom, so to do that stuff she breaks into some rich peoples house. The rich people are always traveling somewhere and they just made the house to show off their wealth. The house itself is some fancy smart house that restocks itself, so Charlie has unlimited use of it. And the owners were stupid enough not to install cameras or a security system, so she goes in and out undetected.
She has a flip phone.
She always says "Bingo." whenever she finds the thing she wanted. It's basically her catchphrase.
Sometimes she puts on a "innocent little girl who's never done anything wrong in her entire life" act if someone is onto her.
She has binoculars that she often uses to see her targets from the rooftops.
She often has ideas that are far more large than what she can pull off. It's her basically biting off more than she can chew, but she acts so overly enthusiastically about it that she might try 100+ times before giving it up.
She likes to eat cereal... nothing more to add to that one-
Much to everyones dismay, she has a pocket knife, but she mostly uses it for opening stuff.
She's really not the most athletically talented or smooth thief, and she often falls of off things, gets stuck somewhere or gets entangled in something, but she's fine in the end.
She's not too good at skateboard tricks but she keeps trying... someone is like "Can you do tricks?" she's like "Bet." and then she steps on the skateboard only for it to smack her face.
I got a bunch of these Molly doodles from my school notebooks, but it's just her face because I can't draw the rest of her from memory-
These are messy and inconsistent, so don't think too much about something looking wrong-

These are pretty messy and inconsistent, but I'm happy that I actually saved them for once-
The general idea has basically remained the same, just some details are different.
The story behind her creation is under the cut! :>
The first tadc oc idea I had was a jack in the box based character who was supposed to be named Jack, Zack or Dice and he had two different versions, one that was basically depressed and always dizzy and scared, and the other was a crazy scientist type of character that kept doing weird crazy experiments to keep himself distracted. The depressed one had a black/white/red color pallete and the other one was more colorful. I didn't fully like this idea so I decided to do something different.
Since I saw that making a fortune teller type character is common in the fandom I wanted to give it a shot for the fun of it. I ended up with a character that had similar proportions to Piper. She had a magic 8 ball as her head and wore some sorta purple/black outfit, and all of her limbs and her head were deattached from her torso. Her main gag was basically that she's pretending to be an extravagant fortune teller, and that she tells false fortunes to the cast just to create drama for the sake of entertainment. Her name was supposed to be Magica, and she was supposed to able to float, which was a bad choice when you consider that Caine can float. Thing is she had too many similarities with Mina, and I don't wanna create the same type of character too many times so I scraped it.
Eventually I was like alright let's look at the cast what can I work with. Then I realized that there isn't really a significantly mad character between them. Yes, Zooble is grumpy and irritable but I was like... let's crank that up to a 100. And boom, Piper was born. (I also took bits of inspiration from the other canon characters, but I won't go into that.)
Although some beta names for her were: Miffy, Blaze, Flare, (I almost went for this one) X, (from explosion) Bonnie, Bo, (from bonfire) Minnie (inspired by Minnie Mouse) Maddie (cuz she's... y'know, mad)... and that's all I can remember.
I was also debating wether her color pallete should be fully black and white or if I should add a third color, like red, yellow or grey in the form of a bow or a different accessory somewhere to match with the fire that forms when her fuse lights up. I also had the idea to make the bottom of her dress look like a lemon, to signifiy that she's sour. But I decided against these ideas for the sake of simplicity.
Back at it again with the messy doodles-
I, without realizing that I did, drew Molly and Charlie with basically the same expressions multiple times but in different notebooks, I find it interesting so imma keep it like this-

Milo is the stylist of the group, from making hairstyles and putting on makeup to picking out the perfect outfit, he can do it all. They spend a lot of their time getting ready in Milo's room.
Milo often has troubles falling asleep which Molly is more than happy to help him with. Whenever she does, he sleeps like a rock.
When Milo and Charlie are on the same page for once, they're a very good duo.
Also, Milo often tells gossip to Charlie, mostly because Molly doesn't understand it and Mina doesn't like gossip. Charlie actually gets invested so they can talk for hours on end.
Charlie and Milo often use nicknames for Molly, because they've noticed that she enjoys them. Charlie usually uses Moony, Shy eyes, Sleepyhead etc. and Sugarcube when Molly does or says something sweet. Milo uses Sweetheart, Sweetie, Honey, etc. Charlie uses random nicknames for Milo, usually something that has to do with the situation. Mina doesn't get (or give anyone) any nicknames because she's not very fond of them. Charlie doesn't get any either, cuz she prefers her own name. Molly doesn't give anyone any nicknames, because she likes their names.
Charlie's treehouse and Molly's bedroom both have a coffee maker just because of Milo. Mina's kitchen also has one, but that was there even before she met Milo.
Milo cares about Charlie and Mina the same amount as he cares about Molly, but he doesn't show it the same way.
Charlie and Molly enjoy to infodump about their respective interests. Milo gladly listens to them, even asking questions along the way. Mina listens as well, even if it might not seem like it since she doesn't comment about anything.
Mina isn't very expressive, but the others can read her very well based on little details.
Mina gives the nicest hugs in the group because her sweater is incredibly soft. Molly and Charlie take advantage of this. Mina doesn't mind.
Milo uses his own rotary phone that's located in his room, just like Molly does. (I don't know what time period Making Fiends is taking place in but Vendetta uses one so Milo can use one too.) Mina doesn't have her own phone yet so she uses the family one, a 90s wall telephone. Spooky Month is probably taking place in more modern times, but Charlie still uses a flip phone.

When I drew these I also thought of two random headcanons/ideas, they don't have to be canon by any means but I felt like putting these out there for fun. They're under the cut!
1. Dan has a snake tounge for no other reason besides that it looks cute and I think it suits him. Maybe he likes snakes idk.
2. He wags his... ghost tail? whenever he's happy, like a dog. He often does this without realizing it. Also, the ghost tail? is also extendable and can stretch into a seemingly endless length. It can also move and form shapes, which makes him more expressive. Sometimes it gives away his actual emotions, for example he pretends he's mad but his tail? forms a heart. He often doesn't realize it, which would be a lil visual gag.
