i just rlly love how sokka & zuko's dynamic goes from "i hate you & think you're an idiot (derogatory)" to "i hate you & think you're an idiot (affectionate)". it's so funny to me. they never stop being mean to each other, but after they become friends they understand each other well enough to know that they're no longer being sincere in the mean things they're saying.
