If the Amber Heard vs Johnny Depp court case isn't taught in schools in the future, I will be very disappointed in the education system
What I hate about writing is when I have to write so much before I finally get to the part I actually wanted to write.
Convicted r@pists and burglars may be FREE to walk in the UK!
I know I haven't been posting lately. My life is hectic. However, after the news that we've received in the UK, I just felt I needed to speak up.
Has the world lost its f*cking mind?
It started with the USA where @bortion apparently doesn't belong to women's health care.
Then it continued with the UK not including @bortion in the basic human rights act, even though they still, for who knows how long, are legal.
And now... now they just let r@pists walk free?
This is exactly what it is. Women's health, rights, safety are considered to be the least of governments' problems. Women's life apparently aren't important enough. What they really want to say is let those r@pists run free, their victims don't matter. It doesn't matter if these disgusting people who are worth less than the dirt under my finger are only let out on bail, it doesn't matter if if they will be placed in jail later on, it doesn't matter if they are still monitoring them and it doesn't matter if this action is just temporary, it's still f*cked up. Why is it always women's life that is considered less important? Why is it that they thought r@pist could walk free, instead of let's say, personal dr*g users, people who commit fraud or basically any other crime that isn't violent? Funny how women always draw the short straw.
But let me tell you, if women stand up and fight back against their @ttackers, women get convicted. And I'm not saying that it's okay to commit a crime because a crime has been committed against you, but if the justice system fails the people, is it really a surprise when people take care of things on their own? Call it revenge or whatever, I don't think it is surprising.
And if indeed the news is true and eventually ends with another victim, because it will, guess what, people will be even more enraged because all those victims could be someone's mother, sister, girlfriend, cousin, niece, aunt or whatever female friend they have. And our lives matter!
I'm just disgusted by how little women's life matters to governments all over the world.
