The sounds in Interlude: Dive are very interesting.

@stormblessed95 has a very nice post on what Jimin has said about Interlude: Dive if you haven’t seen it, here is that lovely post.

I’m not sure if you wanted to know my full ramblings about this track but since you kindly sent in this ask and since Jimin has said

“I think it will be a fun experience to concentrate and listen to each (sound)”

I am going to take this opportunity and run with it. Since I love talking about Face. (This may be a long post)

There are so many interesting sounds in this track but I will mainly talk about the sounds that stuck out to me the most. And I will talk about them in the context of what Jimin said in the post that I linked above. He mentioned that he wanted an “emotional line” from Face-off to Like Crazy and to express happy and sad memories.

Disclaimer: These are all just my curiosities and will be all open-ended thoughts and imagery for fun.

Jimin has said that Face is about his feelings during 2020 in chronological order. This rewind sound at the beginning makes me curious to know at what point in 2020 did he start to feel the things he felt in Face-off, about the people around him? About the people, he thought he could trust and believe in. The ones who hurt him. Was this shortly after the pandemic started? Or right before when they were still active? 

***I am not in the Face-off is a break-up song camp. This song, based on the lyrics and the vibe of the song sounds like he is speaking to all the fake bitches who hurt and used him. He wants to be cleansed of dem' demons. Get it outttt. Get it outtt***

The breathy sounds seem to me like the sounds of crying, sniffling sounds.

It’s interesting that this sound comes before the cheering and concert monologue. It’s possible that some of these sounds may not be in a particular order since Jimin said he wanted it to be a dream-like state. But, could it be a representation of some feelings that were creeping up at the beginning of 2020 while BTS was still active? Things that he wasn’t ready to deal with at the time? Facing one’s self. 

If there is one thing I know for sure about the pandemic, is that when everything stopped in the world we all had to face a lot of things about ourselves at home. It was rough.

Warning: This curiosity is kind of out there.

The sound I clipped above, I don’t know if it’s difficult to hear, but to me it sounds like something dropping on the floor. 

This sound happens right before the start of the car engine and driving away. As if something is being left behind?

Like the last time, you left work and then found out you wouldn’t be going to work the next day because the world was in chaos. 😣 Was that Jimin, the performer, being left behind?

Here’s a western thought. Let’s get a little crazier.

That sound also reminded me of the sound of gambling chips hitting the floor or table and one chip landing vertically and rolling. Which then reminded me of the proverb “Let the chips fall where they may.” Which could be used to say: to allow things to happen as they may without trying to change them. 

Maybe finally allowing himself to feel all the emotions he may have been avoiding before the pandemic and allowing the process to play out? A feeling of letting go of all defenses so that you can face yourself? Again, a curiosity using a western phrase.

I don’t know, I don’t know. 🤷‍♀️ But it stood out to me and Jimin was right. This is a fun experience.

That emotional line that Jimin wanted to draw from Face-off to Like Crazy?

A job well done. Passed with flying colors if you ask me. 

That pouring and drinking sound really wraps it up and transitions to Like Crazy very nicely.

When Suga asked Jimin on Suchwita if Jimin came up with the tracklist himself.

Jimin said:

The details Jimin thinks about are really deep and all-encompassing. He’s very very good at creating an experience.

One of the many reasons why I love him.

I wish I could tell him personally, face to face, that the things he sets out to achieve creatively, he achieves them well and gets his message through to those who are listening.

Jimin was struggling to find words on what to say but he expressed his earnest gratitude towards us, the members (whom he all had talks with around the Las Vegas concert), the producers and all the staff that worked with him on the album. He received phone calls from Hobi, Namjoon and even his dad to congratulate him on his achievement💜 He even remarked the PD that worked with him on the album is crying now. Upon seeing a comment / or a nickname that said "jungkook's wife" (*sidenote: honestly I am so tired of this "joke" I can't even put in words😮‍💨) he said: "I think Jungkookie is sleeping right now"

He talked in a very polite tone full of appreciation and humility. Even the title of the live is written in high politeness "Thank you from the bottom of my heart💜"

(*감사드립니다 is the higher polite form of more typically used 감사합니다, this way you can express even more respect [because it is used towards elderly or seniors] than with the more common 감사합니다)

This is just to show how respectful and humble Jimin really appears every time he wants to express his thanks towards us 😊

So this isn't a post about the live just yet.

I will, of course, wait for the translations.

But...

Gosh, I love using that but.

So, where was I?

Oh, yes, but...

Peeps, JK was watching the live with us and the man, he was on a commenting spree, and all informal and cute and flirty, and JM was flirting back and OMG, these two are just being....

I'll just throw a few things in here, just until I get the time to write the post.

JK was fangirling and laughing and just loving the interaction with JM.

JM asked JK to make him the recipe he posted on Weverse when he comes over.

JM said he hasn't been to JK's to have it yet, as all he has been doing is work and sleep.

JK was at one of JM's practices, you know, the ones that aren't caught on camera.

And if I wasn't clear enough - JK was literally spamming JM's live.

Oh, and we have this too, if you haven't noticed:

Yep, we now have confirmation that indeed Letter is a letter for fan... JM was indeed thinking of a fan when he wrote Letter...

We can also look at it another way...

More mathematical if you wish, maths like JM loves.

JM and JK: You are me I am you, therefore:

Conclusion:

Well, actually that translation is wrong, lol.

Of course, they don't owe us anything. The problem here is the narrative "jikook are the same" that jikookers are spreading as facts. We don't see jikook, we don't know if they see each other, we saw taekook hang out multiple times, how can you say that jikook are the closest if facts prove that taekook are the closest. The difference is that you have old memories of jikook hanging out all the time, being always together, but in the present you NEVER saw jikook together out of the work, only in the company when jimin was practicing. Jk invited Jimin to his home when he knew that Jimin was working and he couldn't go, and Jimin said (in his live) that he didn't go to Jk's house. And Jk now is in USA and before leaving he saw Tae and Hobi but not Jimin. These are facts. You can have jikook Weverse interactions but you can't change the reality, and the reality is that Jimin and Jungkook have other priorities in their lives and they're not that close as before.

This is gonna be a long one because I’ve got things to say.

Alright Anon, lemme make my views clear here first and foremost since there are a lot of assumptions going on in your ask.

I believe JM and JK are in a long-term committed relationship. I’ve come to this belief on my own from watching them over the last decade. I appreciate their relationship and I want nothing more but for them to be happy. I do not ship people, and I don’t think there are any other romantic relationships in BTS. 

And since Tumblr is exploding over this latest Weverse lives. I want to be clear about this as well: I love Tae. I have love for all BTS members. I do have biases named JM and JK. And I am not ashamed of it.

Now, I don’t know what your views are but it doesn’t sound like you are a Jikooker. Maybe you are a Taekook shipper? Maybe you don’t like anyone believing JM and JK are the closest in the group or romantically involved? 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m not sure. But you’re definitely out here trying to convince me otherwise when there is no need.

Mhm, JM told us he was working so much that all he had time for after work was sleep and to get up to do it all again. JK also said he missed JM in Weverse. 

So I’m wondering what your point is?

Maybe JK wanted to publicly let JM know he was missing him by inviting him over regardless of being at work. My husband tells me to come home when he's bored while I'm at work and he knows I can't do that. It's cute, and makes me feel loved and missed even if I saw him that morning.

These are what facts look like about that Weverse live:

JK said he asked in their group chat if anyone wanted to hang out.

Tae & Hobi hung out with JK at JK's place. 

Tae started a Weverse live while Tae & Hobi waited for their Taxi.

Now. Let's talk about Jimin.

Maybe JM was sleeping in another room. Maybe he left a little before Tae & Hobi because he had work early in the morning. Maybe he couldn’t go because he was working. Maybe he wasn’t feeling good. Maybe JM saw JK earlier in the day. Maybe JM stopped by in the morning to give hugs and kisses before sending his man on his way to LA. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Do you see what I'm doing here? I'm speculating. I could do this all day. So can you. 

At the end of the day it's all speculations and opinions.

To say that Tae and JK being seen hanging out a few times = Tae and JK are closer than Jikook and is a fact, does not make sense.

So if I hang out with a friend 3 times over 4 months, that must mean I am no longer close to my husband? 🤔 Interesting.

Look, I am here with a Jikook blog to share my love and appreciation for them and to connect with others in the community. I am open to conversations about them and hearing other people's opinions whether I agree or not. 

What I am not here for is for someone to tell me what I am doing or thinking, when they are not me. To tell me that I have "old memories of Jikook" while contradicting themselves when talking about "facts" and "reality" when all of that is just opinions. 

In my opinion, Jikook are doing just fine. They are two adults with busy work schedules yet they still find the time to literally watch and interact with each other's Weverse Lives while they are working or resting. Jimin watched JK box live and wanted to tie his hair up for him when he was eating chicken all while he was at work. JK did almost a 100-minute live dedicated to Jimin's promotion content while barely interacting with ARMY. Jimin just mentioned JK being asleep in his Billboard Thank You Weverse live all because of someone doing the annoying "I am JK's wife" bit (He's got tabs on his man). All of this has happened just this year, in the last 4 months. 

It looks like they are each other's priority to me. 

But apparently, none of that matters the moment Tae starts a live at JK's place right? That Weverse interaction is the only one that matters right? There are even people out here not even acknowledging JK’s Jimin's fanboy live like it didn't happen. 

If you want to base your beliefs and opinions on a few interactions and call it a day, by all means. It doesn't bother me. But I don't need you to tell me about what I believe.

If you're concerned about me and my support of Jikook, don't be. 

I'm doing just fine, and so is Jikook. I'm not pressed about Tae and Hobi being at JK's or JK being spotted hanging out with Tae in public a couple of times. I'm happy about it. I'm glad JK is spending time with them, especially Hobi before he starts MS.

&& I got to see JK folding undies. We good over here. 💃🏾

I've seen accounts trying to call this a glitch. But be real. Are we back to those very special coincidences that only happen with JM and JK? A 'glitch' that effected only their accounts on different days different times? And replaced photos with each other, not any of the other members? Ok then.

I guess Jaksal thinks it ain't no coincidence either.
