The only reason I have the anons open is to be open to the possibility of having genuine conversations about Jikook, Jimin, Jungkook, or BTS. Even if we disagree and you're not being an ass about it, it's all good because we are humans and that's how conversations work. You don't always agree.

But unfortunately I'm going to have to reconsider this because there is no respect when it comes to Anon Asks.

&& The only reason why I'm even responding to this is because you pissed me off.

&& It's funny because with the minuscule amount of posts I've made on this platform, if it's not about Jikook, there's more JM posts than JK.

And guess what? Both JM and JK are my bias separately in BTS. I can admit that JM is half a notch higher on the list because JM snatched my ass up on Day 1 of BTS's debut in 2013 and he refuses to let me go.

Imma repeat this again. I am not a shipper. JM & JK don't need to be shipped together, they do that shit on their own.

I love and appreciate JM and JK as their own individual person while also appreciating their relationship with each other.

So what are you doing here, Anon? Do you think you're protecting Jimin from me? Even though I love and support JM while also loving someone very important to him, aka JK, while also loving all the other members of BTS as well?

Now since I'm heated and while I'm on the topic of member bias and responding to an Anon who seems to be a solo fan, I'm going to use this opportunity to talk about how I don't fucking understand having to claim OT7 to prove something. (To be clear: I am not talking about applying OT7 to individual relationships within BTS. That's a whole other issue.)

It doesn't make sense to me.

If I say I love BTS and my biases are Jimin and Jungkook. That should be it. End of story.

I've been into K-pop since 2012. When did people start having to assure other people that they like the whole group not just 1 member? When did it start to become a bad thing to have a bias? Did it start in the ARMY fandom? Has it always been this way?

For the past 11 years before I made this Tumblr, I typically kept to myself about my love for any groups I follow because it doesn't matter how other people feel about them to me. I'm not a fan because of the fans. I am a fan because I love their music, I love their content. That's it. I'm good.

BTS wouldn't be BTS without all 7 members.

They tell you time and time again how much they love and care about each other and how they want to be together forever.

So why are you wishing for a single member to leave BTS? Why do you hate on other members and assume they did your solo wrong?

Your solo bias wouldn't be where they are in their career right now without BTS. They built their empire together. && Now this empire has opened so many doors for them. This is the reason why we are seeing the member's solo careers at a high caliber because of what they built together.

Since this is a hot topic right now, do I wish Jimin had everything he actually deserved for his hard work? Absolutely, he deserves so much more. But I don't believe what has happened to him has anything to do with the other members doing anything wrong to him.

But I digress.

Someone always has to ruin it for the rest of us.

Anyways, I'm gonna go rewatch JK's PJM Fanboy Weverse live that I'm sure you're pretending doesn't exist or matter, Anon. So I can enjoy watching JM's Face promos with JK 🥰

Jimin went to music shows. Yoongi and Hobi went there to support him. Jungkook said he wanted to go to support Jimin right? And Jimin replied that it was too late because he had already filmed the last music show. I wonder, if Jungkook really wanted to see Jimin at music show, why he didn't ask Jimin the schedule like Yoongi and Hobi did? Yoongi and Hobi knew Jimin's schedule. Jungkook "wanted" to support Jimin but, in fact, he didn't ask his schedule! He didn't go. He didn't know when Jimin was filming. And Jungkook should be Jimin's boyfriend? What excuse do you have to justify this

We know JK said he hadn’t been doing much and was enjoying resting sometime after BTS’ group activities ended. He then told us on his 2.27.2023 Weverse Live that he had to leave for work soon. So we know at the very least that he started to weave some work into his life again around this time.

We saw JK visit JM at dance practice in his Bangtan Bomb prior to Face Promotions. Where Jimin, knowing his bae well, told him “Now’s not the time to rest at home”. So we know this visit was during JK’s off time. Sometime prior to 2.27.2023, maybe. But some time after he filmed with CK cause he's wearing their clothes already.

And now we have confirmation that JK has been and is working on his album.

So here is what I’m speculating. 

Maybe, JK’s work started to ramp up in preparing for his album and their schedules haven’t been lining up. But man is still out here supporting his bae in Weverse Live as much as he can. Although that doesn’t seem to matter to you. (Or to all the other peeps trying to erase that WLive. I sound like a broken record)

Jungkook "wanted" to support Jimin but, in fact, he didn't ask his schedule! He didn't go. He didn't know when Jimin was filming. And Jungkook should be Jimin's boyfriend? What excuse do you have to justify this -Anon

Now now Anon, there is that pesky word fact again. 

I wouldn’t go as far to say JK didn’t ask about Jimin’s schedule. Both you and I have no idea if that is true. 

Maybe JK knew of JM’s general schedule but forgot the last performance was that day. Maybe that didn’t come up in conversation the day before. Maybe JK just forgot? Oops. Maybe he just made a mistake in that moment. Maybe he was being playful with JM? And maybe that’s why Jimin was laughing at what JK said. 

Look, you’re gonna get tired of hearing this. But I’m always going to talk about my experience because we’re talking about a long-term relationship. I’m in my mid-30s. I’ve been with my husband for 16 years (Married almost 4). We forget things the other person said pretty regularly even things related to work. Do I think my husband isn’t supporting me if he momentarily forgets something? No, unless I’m feeling sensitive that day and I snap back. It happens.

But Jimin didn’t look upset to me. And we have definitely seen a petty Jimin before and he was not present during that Wlive.

Before I wrap this up, I’d like to take this a little further with the speculations because I’m feeling a little spicy and you came feisty with it.

Maybe, with MS coming up, JM and JK thought it would be best for JK to not visit JM at a music show where lots of other people that aren’t a part of BigHit would be? That just maybe, JK actually meant what he said and wanted to go visit but couldn’t because of a reason like this? 

I've read in quite a few places that Jikook is considered an "open secret" in SK. Perceived as a couple by those who see them, but no confirmation.

Maybe with MS coming up, they are doing their best to control that perception by not appearing in public together. A previous Anon said something like "Nobody is forcing them to kiss in public..... jimin could go to visit jk like other members"

Can they? Are you sure?

I don't know, I don't know. But Jikook sure knows. They know the weight and level of seriousness that is the political climate in their own country. 

I personally want them to be as safe as possible. I love them.

Oh, and I will not dig up receipts on the "open secret" thing. I am interested in Korean culture and language so I seek this info out on my own. If you are interested and care to, I recommend you seek it out as well. 

I need to go be responsible and put my notes from JK's last Wlive to good use and do some laundry. 🧺

Unfortunately I've seen this increased hate towards Jungkook in Jimin biased/solo blogs here. There's a section of them who keep saying/agreeing that if you ship Jimin with Jungkook, then you somehow automatically become an anti towards Jimin and by thinking Jimin might have something going on with Jungkook means you're a Jimin hater. It's very black &white and childish and laced with their own personal resentful thoughts about Jungkook.

You're right Anon. It's childish.

And it's just sad.

Here's my thing. It's not an issue to be a solo stan. If that's what you enjoy it's fine, really it is. PJMs come thru for Jimin all the time and raise him up. The majority are doing good and hard work.

The problem comes when a solo stan spreads hate against other members of the group. When a solo stan goes into other community spaces and tell people like me, that we are antis to their bias when we're only loving on these members. That's when you become a toxic solo stan.

This next part is not for you Anon. 💜💛

This is for the lurkers who are waiting to pounce and spew nonsense.

Let's put the romantics of Jikook aside for a moment.

If you are engaging in the kind of toxic solo stan behaviors mentioned above, I urge you to ask yourself: Would JM be happy to know that you're hating on JK, someone JM has made clear many times over years that JK is someone very important to him? Would he be happy to know that you're attacking his fans because they don't act or feel the way you do?

Jimin has said he cuts out anyone who talks bad about BTS members in his life.

He doesn't need protection from JK. He doesn't need protection from any of his members.

The same is true for toxic JK solo stans who want JM away from JK. JK does not need protection from JM. He loves him, romantic or not.

And if nothing else.

Toxic solo stans, please.

I'm saying this nicely. Please don't come into Jikook spaces that are loving and nontoxic.

It's incredible, how many excuses you will create to defend jungkook and his lack of support... don't forget that jimin and jungkook are members of bts. Jungkook could go to music shows exactly like hobi and yoongi, there is no problem. Korean media never talked about jikook as couple. They never mentioned that jikook are a couple. Nobody cares. You keep mentioning the military. If jikook were scared and they wanted to protect their relationship, why we had so many jikook content in these years. Now the new excuse of their lack of moment is the military. Got it (and this is the same excuse that taekookers use when they don't see taekook together, they're protecting their relationship lol)

This is the last time I'm going to talk about this whole "JK didn't support JM" thing because there's another Anon saying the same thing in my inbox and I've already talked enough about this.

I did say in my last post on this subject that I was speculating for entertainment purposes.

I brought up MS because it's something very real and very serious that Jikook will be facing soon.

Here's the thing though, I don't even subscribe to the idea that if BTS members don't post on social media or visit a member's solo activities then that means they don't support that member or boyfie in Jikook’s case.

I come from a time when social media was used as an emo diary called Xanga and my first follower was named Tom on something called Myspace.

My husband was my boyfie when I graduated from college and he was not at my graduation. Most would say that graduating college is a big thing. Yet he couldn’t get out of work to come. Oh well 🤷🏽‍♀️ I partied with him afterward.
