if this gets 200 notes i'll start eating more fruit

if this gets 500 notes i'll apply for a summer job

if this gets 1000 notes i'll actually make plans with my friends

if this gets 2000 notes i'll tidy my entire wardrobe

if this gets 5000 notes i'll get a better skincare routine

if this gets 10 000 notes i'll do something about my mental health

the numbers are intentionally high bc i really don't want to do any of this and yeah there is a deadline of the end of june

able-bodied people will claim to be disability activists and then they'll get pissed at you if you don't have the physical energy to respond 'timely'. or if you sleep a lot due to exhaustion. or if you can't get out much (or at all!) for an array of reasons. or if your hygiene isn't up to their standards because you can't wash yourself. or if you have 'inconvenient' allergies or dietary restrictions that they don't want to cater to. or if you're unemployed. or if you have a medical emergency that gets in the way of their plans (especially if you have to cancel last minute). or if you can't do any other 'normal' thing that is more difficult/impossible thanks to an array of disabilities because, get this, they are disabling. fuck that. disabled people don't owe the world an illusion of good health for the sake of the able-bodied. love disabled people without condition.

so I’m reading lord of the rings and I just had so dumb a thought that it circled back around to cool. Chell is like the ring of power. She is incredibly powerful. Her going outside is being thrown in mount doom (leaving apature). She is a force of nature and willpower. Her leaving would bring the end of apature as we know it, ending human testing (yes I know that atlas and p-body test but that’s not exactly the same) that’s similar to how the elves had to go west without the ring. Wheatley is Isildur and Gollum, someone who could have given away the ring but didn’t, and whose hoarding it brought his own destruction. GLaDOS is both Frodo and Sauron, someone who finally let the ring go despite their attachment (yes I know Frodo didn’t give it up willingly but it’s close enough) and the person who made the ring the way it is.
