Tellajacks had passion but he always treated her like an object and never genuinely cared about her meanwhile with eva he's always so soft and loses his mind if anyone so much as looks at her the wrong way. His obsessive reckless treatment of tella is in such stark contrast to how gentle and careful he is around evangeline. Tbona erased any doubts that jacks didn't love eva and only had feelings for tella.
