I think Evangeline is Jacks one and only true love, someone mentioned that we don’t really know how the beating hearts work. He could’ve seen her in passing and he might have since it was Caraval and Eva might have participated in it but I think her dad owned half of the clothes shop that Jacks sends Tella to get her new gowns in Legandary and it seems he’s a regular so maybe he saw her there in passing and that made his heart beat and he thought it was because of Tella because he spent more time with her. I think the only reason Tella survived was because of Legend, and his blood. We know Jacks doesn’t love Tella and he says he wasn’t sure what he’s feeling for the Fox were, so yeah Eva is Jacks one and only true love.

Plus the Fox died when he kissed her so she obviously wasn’t his true love, she may have be a love but not true love. But I’m pretty sure this was before he becomes a Fate so I’m not exactly sure. It would be a lot helpful if I knew when he became a Fate, I’m assuming it would have to be around the same time as LaLa
