TASTES SWEETER ON YOUR LIPS - SATORU GOJO

It was a rare day off for Satoru Gojo. 

No missions — overseas or otherwise. No training to deal with for his students. No annoying higher ups to deal with. 

Just the two of you in bed. Satoru was sound asleep, curled up beside you, pretty long white eyelashes and pink lips parted. How was it possible to look perfect while sleeping? Everything about your husband was truly unfair. 

But considering everything he did — you ran your fingers through his snowy locks — he deserved it. He worked so hard, always with a smile, barely with a complaint — you had to badger out of him half of the time, except about the higher ups — and always did his best for everyone around him. 

And the opportunity to spoil him became rare, especially with how busy everything had been with Itadori, the special grades, and everything else he had on his plate. So why not today? 

You sneak out of bed, being as quiet as possible as you head to the kitchen. You had found a recipe for soufflé pancakes with a chocolate and butter pecan sauce. Satoru had been complaining that he hadn’t had time to try the new trend recently — finding the perfect cafe for the two of you in Kyoto, but hadn’t had the time to get out there. But you thought why not beat him to the punch? 

Anything to make him happy. 

Satoru’s eyes fluttered open, the sunlight falling across his eyelids as he stirred, reaching for you, only to find an empty bed. He sighed, eyes opening and he could sense you in the kitchen, and you were — cooking?

He sits up. 

What was that scent? It’s so sweet. 

He’s wandering into the kitchen, yawning, as he wraps his arms around you, pulling you flush against him as he buries his head in the nape of your neck sleepily. 

“What are you doing?” It’s half a question, half a whine, “why’re you up so early—“ and then he spots the two plates in front of you, and he gasp, “what—“ 

“Surprise,” you giggle at his wide eyed gaze, “your six eyes are gonna pop out if you look any harder, baby,” 

“Where did you—“ 

“I made them. I found a recipe and I had most of the ingredients on hand anyway,” you turn to face him, cupping his cheeks, “I know how hard you’ve been working, Toru, and I just wanted you to know I see it — and I’m here to take care of you sometimes,” you lean up and kiss his cheek. 

And his lips curl into a wide grin, and he’s greedy, as he’s tugging you back, “you missed, sweetheart,” and he’s kissing your lips, and somehow you’re the best and the sweetest thing he’s ever tasted, “I love you,” he murmurs, “how’d I get so lucky?” 

“Keep asking yourself that,” and he’s picking you up and spinning you, as you gasp and giggle, holding onto him, “Toru—“ 

“Yes, my lovely wife?” You lean down and kiss his goofy grin off his lips. 

“Let’s have some pancakes, ok?” And he only smiled wider, a mischievous glint in his eyes. 

“Only if I can have you afterwards,” and you laugh. 

“Deal,”

“Satoru, that is your third plate of—“ 

“These pancakes are so good! They’re so fluffy and warm and perfect—I’ve never had such a fluffy pancake!“ and he’s taking another large bite, “and the sauce? What the hell is in that sauce?” 

“Toru—“ and he’s pressing his lips to yours, and you can taste the sweet syrup sauce on his lips, “what—“ 

“I think this sauce tastes sweeter on your lips,” he’s licking his lips clean, pressing a kiss to your neck, his cerulean eyes colored with lust, “do you have more?” And his eyes drift to the bowl of sauce on the counter, his fingers dipping in the sauce, before dragging it along your lips and then your jaw. 

And your breath catches, as he leans over, his lips and tongue dragging along the same path he left, sucking at the sauce and your skin, before he reaches your lips. And his tongue darts out and tastes the sauce, before kissing you, sweet tongue slipping into your mouth, drawing a moan from your lips. 

He draws back, spit clinging to the corner of his mouth, a grin on his lips, as you pant, eyes drifting to the sauce and back to him. 

“…let’s go back to bed.” 

And Satoru Gojo certainly had a very sweet day off with you.

✂︎ arguing with mikey is always going to be like arguing with a wall, since he’s never going to back down on something that he thinks he’s right on, even if he knows that he should just drop it and leave it alone, (and this is especially true is you guys are arguing about his involvement with toman).

✂︎ the argument probably started over something stupid at first, like mikey had seen somebody trying to make moves on you and he beat them up, because who in their right ming would try to mess with mikey’s s/o? you’d been present when it happened, and you were annoyed that he did something so over the top when he could have just taken your hand and walked away.

✂︎ he’s insistent on the fact that people like that need to be taught a lesson when necessary, or else they’ll never actually stop what their doing, and while you half-agreed with it, you still didn’t like the fact that he had made a huge scene in front of a lot of people.

✂︎ while the two of you are arguing, he suddenly stops you and starts to go on and on about how you never let him do anything, and how you’re always trying to pull him down from what he actually wants, and why can’t you just understand that this is who i am (y/n)?!

“you’re always trying to get me to not get into fights, well news flash (y/n), i’m the president of toman! of course i’m going to get into fights; how stupid can you be?!”

✂︎ as soon as the last sentence left his mouth, he instantly regretted in it, especially when he saw the shocked and hurt expression on your face. he couldn’t even say anything; what was he supposed to say?

✂︎ before he could even try to backtrack, he suddenly froze, seeing your eyes turn glassy as you looked at him, trying your best not to let the tears in your eyes escape.

“manjiro, i don’t think that i’ve ever...tried to stop you from being in toman, but do you know how it feels to have you at my doorstep, covered in blood and bruises…? it’s…”

✂︎ you couldn’t help the sob you let out and you looked away from him, trying your best to compose yourself. you were about to just take a breather and go outside for some fresh air, but before you could, his arms were around you and he was whispering apologies to you.

✂︎ with every good relationship comes arguments, so mitsuya had never expected his relationship with you always be smooth sailing all the time; healthy relationships also include being honest with one another, and sometimes your opinions might not always match.

✂︎ the two of you never really argued, so this kind of came as a shock to both of you. honestly, you didn’t even remember why you guys were fighting at this point because of how stupid it was, but you were both stressed to say the least. you both hated fighting with each other, so this wasn’t a very pleasant situation to be in.

✂︎ you were pretty sure it started because you hadn’t noticed that somebody was hitting on you; really not a big deal. you knew that mitsuya worried for you and your safety a lot and you understood why he was probably upset about it, but you didn’t think that it was that big of a deal.

“(y/n), you can’t just expect that everybody is just being nice to you! you have to think about it! what is something had happened?!”

“i didn’t know! i’m sorry, what else do you want me to say mitsuya?!”

✂︎ he paused for a second when you called him by his last name; you never called him by his last name, and that’s how he knew that you were taking this seriously.

“i want you to say that you’re going to be more careful! you can’t be that dumb and expect to be living in ten years!!”

✂︎ regret filled his head as soon as the words left his mouth, and his face morphed into one of utter regret as he started to apologize, but before he could finish his sentence, he heard the sound of crying.

✂︎ he had never seen you cry before, so it came as a surprise to him, but he sighed, taking the blame and putting it on himself as he apologized again and ask you if you were alright with him giving you a hug.

“i’m sorry (y/n), i don’t know why i said that...i’m sorry. ahh...i’m supposed to be the one who protects you, yet i’m the one who made you cry, that’s pretty lame, isn’t it? i’m sorry, i didn’t mean it.”

✂︎ he’ll let you cry on him for as long as it takes for you to stop, apologizing and telling you that it was his fault the entire time.

✂︎ definitely going to get you some dinner afterwards, and he’ll be apologizing for the rest of the night, because he really is sorry.

chifuyu matsuno:

✂︎ the two of you almost never argue because of your similar views on things, but there are the certain occasions where something will happen that will make either of you upset, and because you’re both lowkey dramatic people, it’s going to be a bit more to deal with.

✂︎ you had always understood that chifuyu needed time to be with his friends and to do his duties at toman, but it was starting to get a bit much. you tried to be as understanding as possible, but after he had cancelled your date for the 9th time to hang out with baji is when you started to get pissed off.

✂︎ it wasn’t even about the date at this point; you just needed to see him because something had happened, and he was always really bad at picking up his phone, so you had to tell him in-person, but you were never able to get the chance because he was always with either baji, takemichi, or he’s out doing toman business.

✂︎ when you were finally able to see him, he could immediately tell that something was wrong and that you were angry at him, although he wasn’t sure why, he was going to do his best to try and solve it.

✂︎ he also noticed that you seemed a lot more dishelved than usual for some reason, although he wasn’t sure why, but he was going to try to fix whatever was bothering you so much that you looked so unpleased.

“(y/n), i’m sorry i’ve been cancelling our dates, i’ve been busy with toman, is there any way i can-”

“chifuyu. i called you eight times last week...do you even know why?”

✂︎ he had no idea what the right answer to this question was; his phone had been on silent and he was watching a mobie with baji, but when he called back for some reason it had said that your number was out of service, which he was about to ask about-

✂︎ hearing the waver in your voice, chifuyu immediately froze, wondering what the hell happened. thoughts started to race through his head as he tried to think of maybe something he forgot? an anniversary? your birthday? what was it?

“i got kicked out of my house chifuyu! and-! i...i really really needed you!”

✂︎ the shock on his face was obvious to anybody who could see him. his mind was pretty blank at first, but a second later, he started berating himself; why didn’t he check on you when he saw your number was out of service? why didn’t he check on you sooner? why didn’t he pay more attention?

✂︎ he was pulled out of his own thoughts by a small sob from you as you looked away, trying to compose yourself so that you could talk more to him.

✂︎ this isn’t about me right now. and with that thought, chifuyu came over and pulled you into his arms, hugging you close as he apologized to you, whispering affirmations of the future in your ear.

✂︎ of course, not everything was fixed, but he promised himself that he would never let something like this happen again.
