Happy Friday Indeed! Ever Since Infinity War Ive Had An Idea To Explain Why Clint Never Appears In The

Happy Friday indeed! Ever since Infinity War I’ve had an idea to explain why Clint never appears in the film that I’m super proud of, but I haven’t written anything in years.

With the release of the trailer I’m wishing I could still feel as though I could write 😕

I Wont Be Around On Tumblr Until Midday Friday In An Attempt To Prevent *Avengers: Infinity War* From

I won’t be around on Tumblr until midday Friday in an attempt to prevent *Avengers: Infinity War* from being spoiled (either accidentally or intentionally). Tumblr spoiled White Wolf for me a few months ago and I don’t want to have it happen again.

I will try and stay up on my direct messages on here -- I should be able to avoid spoilers to do so, but if you want to be 100% certain to get ahold of me on my AO3 account: https://archiveofourown.org/users/Cathain_Baldwin/profile

See you in about 35 hours!

“Papa! Mama’s home!”

Kes smiled at the sheer joy on his 3 year old’s face. That kid was a mama’s boy, through and through. He motioned to the open door. “Well go get her, Poe!”

Poe toddled off as fast as his little legs would carry him, running towards the A-Wing that had just landed. He was so excited to see her again… she’d been gone for forever this time. But he was also nervous. He’d been doing a lot of thinking while she was gone, and had a very important question to ask her. But he was sure she’d say yes… didn’t she always say she’d do anything for him?

As soon as her feet hit the ground, Poe threw himself into her arms with a giggle. “Mama! I missed you!”

“I missed you too little one,” she laughed, mussing the curls on her son’s head. “So, what did you and Papa do while I was gone?”

But Poe ignored her question. His was burning a hole in his mind, and he had to get it out. “Mama, will you marry me?”

Shara smiled. “Oh sweetie, I’m already married to Papa!”

Poe frowned, confused. “But you always tell me you love me mostest in the whole galaxy… so why can’t you marry me too? Is it cause Papa gave you a ring? I can get a ring for you, Mama.”

Standing with Poe in her arms, she began to walk back towards the house. “Baby, I do. I love you more than anything. But I love you differently than I love Papa.”

Poe began to pout, sticking out his bottom lip as far as it would go. “But Mama…”

Shara shifted Poe off her hip, and held him on her stomach so she could look him in the eye. “Poe, there are so many types of love in the world. How you love Papa and I is one. How I love Papa is another. And so is how you love Koyo fruit, and how you love your favorite toy. I promise, you’ll keep finding more ways to love as you get older. And one day, you’ll find someone you love the way I love Papa. And that person is the one you should marry, ok sweetie?”

Poe sighed. “I guess, Mama. You promise I’ll find someone like you found Papa?”

And with the hope in his eyes, she just couldn’t say no.

The sounds of X-Wings landing pulled Poe out of his memories. He quickly scanned the group, and found the ship he was looking for. As she jumped out of her ship, helmet in one hand and short brown hair blowing in the breeze, his heart skipped a beat. He imagined his mom smiling down on him, knowing that he had finally found her. Mustering up all the confidence he could, he strode towards her, holding a small object in his hand.

He was so excited to see her again… she’d been gone for forever this time. But he was also nervous. He’d been doing a lot of thinking while she was gone, and had a very important question to ask her. But he was sure she’d say yes… didn’t she always say she’d do anything for him?

It was 30 years later, and this time would be different than the first. This time, he knew he finally understood what his mom had told him about love. This time, he knew the answer would change the rest of his life. This time, he had a ring.

I’m pretty sure all the lovely writers I follow have been tagged, but if you haven’t a) I’m sorry I didn’t tag you! and b) I would love to see what you have to share :)

NOOOOO! Okay Two Chapters In And Im Utterly Hooked Onto This One. The Anxiety Kylo Is Going Through Trying

NOOOOO! Okay two chapters in and I’m utterly hooked onto this one. The anxiety Kylo is going through trying to get to the restaurant on time is 100% identifiable.

I Dig You Part 2

Summary: Goth!Reader x Kylo meet on tumblr and their friendship evolves to something more. But what happens when the reader wants to finally meet Kylo face to face?

Warnings: Alcohol, Cursing, and AAANNGGSSTT.

A/N:  Okay i honestly didn’t think i’d get this far but here we are! There’s some easter eggs in here I hope y’all get. (GIFS are NOT MINE, i found them on google) Tagging: @move-im-indigenous, @angstybadboytrash @brookewiththeface @that-girl-named-alex  I hope you guys enjoy part 2 as much as part 1 <3<3

You arrived a little late at the bar by five minutes. You parked your car and walked towards the entrance smoothing out your black dress. You checked your dark lipstick and smoothed out any fly ways in your hair.

“Okay Y/N, you’re gonna meet him and finally talk to him. He’s probably just as nervous as you are,” You spoke giving a pep talk, “And if all else fails you can just get a facelift, change your name, and leave the country.”

You walked out of the car entered the building hearing soft music play and chattering of people. You caught a waitress eyes as you waited to be seated.

“Hi I’m with Kylo Organa-Solo party, he said he had a reservation in the patio,” you spoke.

The waitress nodded and began searching her guest list. You began to fidget with your purse as she looked over another list.

“Ah here we are, Mr. Organa-Solo is here actually,” she spoke with a smile, “I’ll lead you up there.”

You felt your heart skip a beat, “Okay.”

You followed her across the room and towards the stairway. You climbed up the stairs hoping you didn’t trip over your heels. You two reached the top you glanced around at the extravagant and relaxed ambiance. There was a large bar to your left and several white lounge areas around a fire place in the middle room along with light bulbs hanging across the area. It looked over the downtown area giving a romantic setting.

“That over there is your table miss,” said the waitress, “Let me know if you need anything else okay?”

You nodded as your eyes landed on him. His hair was long and blonde and his eyes were a light blue. He sat by himself taking a slip of his drink. You took a breath and made your way towards him.His blue eyes caught yours along with a friendly smile. You suddenly felt your knees turned to jelly.

“Are you Kylo?” You asked.

The man rose a brow, “I’m sorry?”

“Is your name Kylo?”

“I think you might have mistaken me for someone else. My name’s Chris Thorson.’’ The man paused, “Are you Jane??”

A pink hue of embarrassment rose to your cheeks.

“No, I’m Y/N Y/L. Oh man this is embarrassing,” You spoke with a awkward laugh, “I was looking for someone name Kylo Organa, and they pointed me to you. I’m so sorry.”

“No no it’s alright,” Chris insisted, “Is he suppose to be here?”

“Yea,” you replied looking around, “But I-uh- don’t know what he looks like.”

He eyebrows rose, “I take it you’re on a blind date?”

You nodded, “Yes and no, I met him online and we’ve chatted for a couple of months. I’m hoping to finally met him.”

“Oh how exciting! Me too!,” he smiled. “Except I haven’t spoken to Jane yet, but her friend is one of my friends so that how I ended up here.”

“Aw that’s sweet.” you complimented.

“Hey, if this Kylo doesn’t seem right, you can feel free to sit here and pretend to be my cousin.’’

You looked up at the man, “It’s alright, I don’t wanna ruin your date.”

“You won’t, it’s better than being out there with those weirdos.” He spoke as he took another sip of his drink. This man seemed nice, a lot nicer from the creeps who you saw staring at you.

“Oh i’m sorry would you like a seat?” He asked getting up and motioning the bench.

“Sure,” you nodded as you sat across from him, “you sure I’m not intruding??”

“No you’re not, if anything it’s nice to have someone to talk to,” he admitted, “Better than waiting in anxiety and silence.”

You chuckled at his statement, “That’s true.”

“Hi Miss!,” called the waitress from earlier, “I’m so sorry I directed you to the wrong party. Mr. Organa-Solo’s spot is over there on the opposite end.”

With hope you turned your head only to find the area empty. Maybe he’s just a little late, you thought to yourself.

“Thanks Chris, good luck with your date,” you spoke as you followed the waitress.

“You too Y/n,” he said with a small wave.

You followed the waitress to the large bench and sat down.

“I’m so sorry for the inconvenience,” she apologized, “I can get you a free drink while you wait for your party?”

Your eyes went to the entrance then to her, “I’ll have a glass of rosé please.”

She nodded and left to the bar placing your order. You pulled out your phone and saw texts from your sisters and friends. Your eyes scanned them but you were too occupied to reply. You decided to scroll through your emails hoping your dash would distract your nervousness. A half hour had passed and you soon became hungry. Two glasses and a plate of appetizers was enough to make you relax for a bit. You decided to call your mom and chat with her while you waited. Your conversation lasted another hour as she kept you interested in the ridiculous family drama. An hour had passed and you decided to message him.

Hey Kylo, is everything okay?

You pressed send.

Every time you heard voices coming up the entrance way you glanced at it, secretly hoping you’d spot him. But the hope was short lived. Your eyes would fall back to Chris too, his eyes looking at the entrance eagerly. Your heart broke a little seeing him with a sad sigh. Chris caught your gaze and pointed at his watch with a confused look. You shrugged, “No idea? You?”

He made a running motion, “Running late.”

You nodded and went back to your wine. You checked your phone only to see the message saying delivered and not read. Your hopes slowly began to die as you felt the time go by. Three hours had passed and you finally came to a gut retching horrible realization, you had been stood up. The bartender came by catching your attention.

“Hi Miss, we have another 10 minutes until last call,” he spoke as he left to the other lounge area.

You hastily took out your phone. You were angry as you looked at his messages. You didn’t deserve this, to be left waiting for hours on a end to man who doesn’t even bother showing up or at least message you to say he wasn’t interested. You chugged the last of your wine and messaged Kylo once again.

Thanks for standing me up

You sent the text and placed the phone in your leather purse. Tears began to well up in your eyes as you remember your confession. You fell hard, only for him to come up short.

“Asshole,” you whispered wiping your eyes.

A figure walked up to you and it was Chris. His eyes looked a little puffy and red too. He had a sad smile on his face and sat across from you.

“You too huh?” you asked.

“Yea,” he sighed wiping his nose, “She said she was 15 minutes away, but that must’ve meant 2 hours ago in her timezone.”

“He never replied,” you admitted.

Chris shook his head and looked at the empty wine glasses, “I know we just met, but do you want to get some dessert downstairs? My treat??”

“Sure,” You nodded trying to manage a smile. At least you made a new friend.

There was no point in crying now, Kylo had stood you up and it’s not likely now he’d come waltzing back into the restaurant. If he did, you’d probably deck him in the face.

Chris smiled and you both walked down the stairs into the restaurant. You found a table in the bar seating and placed your purse beside you. You wanted to check your phone, to see if maybe just maybe Kylo had replied. You glanced at it, indecisively.

“What would you two like?” Asked the waiter cutting off your train of thought.

“Oh I’ll just have a fudge sundae please,” you answered.

“And you sir?”

Chris glanced at the menu, “I will have a double chocolate mousse, a crème brûlée, a piece of your devils food with extra peanuts on top, if you can, and a three scoops of your Neapolitan ice cream with extra whip cream please? Oh and a a slice of apple pie.”

The waiter nodded and began to walk towards the kitchen. Your jaw drop along with a silent wow as you looked at him.

“I deserve it,” Chris spoke in a matter of fact voice, “And you do too Y/N.”

You shook your head with a laugh, “You’re absolutely right.”

He smiled and you two began to watch the re-runs of the baseball game. His company managed get your mind off of things for the most part. But there was still that sadness deep within your chest. That possibility of what could’ve been.

KYLO’S POV

A million things ran through his mind as he was stuck in the traffic jam. People around him blew their horns along with complaints. He grinded his teeth as he saw the time, it was 8:05 and he left his house at 7:30. He cursed as he pulled up maps on his navigation hoping to find another route. Which was another hour. Kylo growled and took it anyway. He knew he had to make a stop first at the bank and take out money. As he was at a dead stand still, he pulled out his phone. Kylo needed to send her a message, saying he’d be running late and not to wait up for him. As he clicked his phone a blank screen appeared.

“The fuck?” He questioned as he clicked it again.

A gasp of horror escaped his lips as he saw his battery and charging icon light up in red, then to black.

“Damn it,” he hissed. He reached for his glove department and searched for his cord charger.

Kylo moved his CDs around and glanced at his drivers side in defeat. The cord was no where to be found. He smacked his glove department shut and placed his head on the steering wheel.

‘God she thinks I’ll stood her up,’ he panicked.

He brushed his hair back away from his face and suddenly felt a pair of eyes staring at him. He turned and saw a little boy gazing up at him with a alarmed face. The kid made a repulsive face in the window at him. Kylo brushed off the kid’s teasing and looked onto the traffic. This was the last thing he needed.

“BIG EARS! SCARFACE!” Sang the kid.

Kylo’s grip became tighter and he remembered flash backs from his child hood. He immediately turned on the radio drowning the kids taunts.

“SCAR-,” the kid suddenly feel silent as the growls of the male vocals and heavy beat of the drums drowned out his taunts.

Kylo looked at the kid who was now crying, he chuckled as his car slowly began to move. Finally within the hour he found a quicker route and along the way he found his bank. With a sense of relief from traffic he parked his car. Kylo briskly walked out of the car and into the building. His went to the ATM and placed his card and pin number in. He looked at his blank phone as he shifted his stance.

“There’s gotta be a 7 eleven around here,” he spoke to himself.

He glanced at the ATM screen only to see it say his card was declined. His anger began to boil as he took the card out.

“Now the fucking card,” he hissed in disbelief.

Kylo walked into the bank and internally screamed as he saw 13 people in front of him. He sighed heavily as he watched the clock.

“I can’t believe we need to get new cards,” said one of the customers before them, “This is ridiculous! COME ON!”

“Sir there’s only two tellers today, we are sorry for the inconvenience,” said the elder one.

Kylo’s stomach formed into knots as he waited in line. This is the only bank that was the closest to the bar, if he’d turn back now he’d have to drive another half hour across the city. He rubbed his scar and patiently watched the clock. He could feel his sweat slowly gather in his palms. Finally it was his turn, he gave the teller his information and heard the teller give him a expiation why he needed a new card. He patiently waited as the teller was done talking.

“So um how long is this going to take?” He asked.

“30 minutes maybe 35,” the teller replied.

Kylo cursed quietly and waited thinking about his already failure of a date. He wondered what Y/N was doing. If your hair was curled or straighten, what your favorite drink was. He sighed as he looked at the clock he was nearly two hours late. Finally the teller came back with a new card.

“I’d like to withdraw too please,” Kylo asked.

The teller did what he said and soon enough he was out the door. He ran towards his car and started it driving onto the main road. He spotted a liquor store and pulled over hoping he could find a cord for his phone. Much to his luck he did.

Kylo bought the cord and ran back into his car. He eagerly plugged in his phone into the car charger and made his way to the bar. Butterflies entered his stomach as he pulled into the valet parking. His phone had lighten up saying 5 percent. He smiled and unplugged it. He placed it in his pocket and walked out handing the valet keys to the valet person.

Kylo paused as he gathered himself up before entering the building. The tinted windows could barely make out peoples faces from the inside. A small swell of pride filled his chest as he anticipated to met Y/N. He reached for the door but paused as he felt a vibration in his pocket. He pulled out his phone and saw a message from Y/n.

Hey Kylo, is everything okay?

Before Kylo could type back saying he was hear another messaged appeared.

Thanks for standing me up

Kylo’s heart fell out of his chest with a crashing wave of guilt.

He’d have to fully explain as soon as he saw you, that was only IF you forgave him. Kylo gathered what courage he could muster and entered the restaurant.

“Please don’t hate me,” he silently prayed as he hastily walked to the restaurant. “Oh god she probably does.”

He looked around the room searching for your face. He walked up the check in stand catching a waiters eye.

“C-Can I help you with something sir?? He asked, his eyes suddenly went to Kylo’s scar, then sheepishly back up to him.

Kylo would let that glance fly, for now. “Yes, actually, I had made reservations for Organa-Solo party on the patio upstairs, is there someone there??”

The waiter shook his head, “Sorry sir but we close off the patio at 11.”

“But it says its open it 1?” Kylo questioned.

“That’s only on weekends sir,” the waiter replied, “Maybe the party you are looking for down here?”

“I-i don’t know,” Kylo answered, “If you don’t mind, I’d like to look.”

“Of course sir.”

Kylo walked into the dining floor seeing groups of people gathered together. His ember eyes glanced among the women none of them matching your profile.

He anxiously glanced around across the room and suddenly he saw you. Kylo felt his breath hitch as you saw you taking to the waiter. You were beautiful, your dark hair fell past your shoulders and your black dressed hugged your curves. But your smile, oh your smile, was warm and welcoming. As if Kylo couldn’t already be head over heals. He was entirely enchanted and possibly in love. You were everything he’d imagined you’d be.

He placed a strand his hair behind his ear and took a step forward feeling his courage slowly rise in him. He suddenly came to abrupt halt as he saw the man you were with. He felt his heart rise to his throat as the man gazed at you. The man was everything Kylo wasn’t. An instagram worthy blonde with a muscular body. His eyes were a icy blue framed by long lashes. His face was handsome, regal almost. And not a single scar. Kylo self esteem was disappearing by the seconds. He could feel his throat suddenly tighten as you two laughed together.

She looks happy now, said a cruel voice in his head, I bet he’s richer than you too. What do you have to offer now that he’s in your place? An ugly mug and a gross scar??

Kylo’s ember eyes suddenly caught a man gaze and soon others.

Christ, now they’re staring at your disgusting scar.

Kylo bit his lip as his anxiety gathered around him slowly inching into his nerves. He walked away and exited the room quickly before you could glance around. He stood outside as he inhaled the cold air. His fingers went up to his face as felt the smoothness of his deep scar. Kylo handed the ticket to the valet and waited for his car to arrive. He pulled out his phone and tears gathered in his eyes.

“I’m sorry,” Kylo texted y/n, “Y/N I’m so sorry.”
