How are the Grammys xenophobic because BTS didn't win?? It's not that serious?

"it's not that serious?" really? what chart sales? or even critical acclaim do you need to win that fucking award, because BTS has earned them all. i do not have the emotional capacity to make a bullet point presentation explaining why weeknd (not xenophobia but you can't tell me that the recording academy isn't racist) not being nominated for a single award, or army being dragged on for the shows ratings, or how this award show (which is supposedly the HIGHEST platform for critically acclaimed music *world wide*) has barely ANY Asian representation, except a pity nomination thrown here and there in the side categories every year, is a problem. But it is.

this lack of acknowledgment, dismissal of anyone that isn't western in the main categories, just this circle of limited people who stroke each other's ego in secrecy and have lost their morals & respect for music as an art is very much a problem. They claim to be "inclusive" but their actions scream otherwise.
