Was Anyone Gonna Tell Me Song Joong Ki (the Guy Who Plays Vincenzo) Was In Italy, Or Was I Supposed To
Was anyone gonna tell me Song Joong Ki (the guy who plays Vincenzo) was in Italy, or was I supposed to figure that out on my own?

If this isn’t about Season 2 I’m giving up on life.

This literally explains his character.
He is a devil and will be a devil.
The thing with han seok is that in the end he really was not as great as he thought he was, and when all his support and contacts were stripped away, all that was left was an unhinged brat with a gun and a god complex. It was very anticlimactic (well anticlimactic is not the word but I can't think of a better one so bear with me here) to see the villain who had caused so much damage to our leads and countless other people, who had seemed so out of reach, so powerfully intimidating, suddenly losing consistently. It was like they nerfed han seok nearing the end, as he got more and more sloppy, but actually, I think it makes sense.
We see throughout the drama that it's his people who enable him to get away with/do all the terrible things he does. He seems imposing, intimidating, scary, because he has the platform and the security to be that way, he has choi myung hee, he has his company, he has thugs to do the dirty work for him, he has han seo to take the fall for him, he has status and money to cover up his messes. Even when he was younger, he had his father to make his killings go away, he grew up in that bubble where his actions never really had any consequences. No one could touch him because of who he was and those he had around him.
That's why it makes sense that he's so weak in the end, he was never really strong on his own to begin with. So once all his backup/armor is stripped away and he's at vincenzo's mercy, we see him for what he really is. And I think it's very interesting because instead of making him some cartoonishly powerful, super clever, crazy strong bad guy (as fun as that would have been), he's simply the deranged product of an environment where his worse tendencies were allowed to grow and develop unchecked because his background had the money to enable it. And that really hits because it's something that we do actually see in real life.
And, as many things related to han seok do, it also contrasts and parallels vincenzo's journey to surrounding himself with people who help him, and getting better/stronger for it. For han seok it's the opposite, he loses all those around him and the benefits that came with those people. Of course there's also the contrast in that jang 'why is family important' han seok's people were not found family, or friends, they were tools or pawns in his plans for his own success, but on a fundamental level we see the overarching message that the people around you make you stronger, for better or for worse, repeated again in a different way. Which also makes the fact that eventually vincenzo and his people are the ones who come out on top even more impactful. They were the right kind of genuine support, in comparison to han seok's fear and power driven support.
There are days when my thoughts revolve around Vincenzo and Cha Young, and the bond they shared with each other’s parents. And just thinking about them makes my heart feel so full.. I know there are some great fics out there with Hong Yu Chan, but I would also love to see some more Ms. Oh interactions with our favourite dorks in love. Bonus if we get to see both of them!
OH MY GOSH!! Vincenzo so damn disrespectful but good thing Hanseok deserves no respect. I’m cackling. Also crying cause even though I hate him I got to admit his fit was on point. Like you evil but you got drip.
I will fight with anyone who said that Vinny was not devastated with Han seos death. Yes they didn’t show it but I felt it. Vinny didn’t have a true brother relationship too. Paolo was not his brother. He didn’t know how to react when Han SEO died.
