i think cross should get to be conditioned like a dog by some sort of villain given his story is partially centered around his dehumanization (changing his name to not appear like a ‘species’, saying ‘I’m a tool…’ when chara tells him just that, referring to himself as a dog for others, unwavering loyalty which results in his harm *checks list* 100% of the time, blindly following orders, etc)
