WIBTA if I kept notes about my friends?

I have ADHD and memory problems due to a brain injury. For this reason it's difficult for me to remember things about my friends sometimes. When I want to get them a gift sometimes I draw a blank and default to getting them a giftcard or nice bottle of alcohol (we're all adults) but sometimes I'd like to get them more sincere gifts if I could remember more details about things they liked.

I feel like if I wrote notes about them after hanging out I could pinpoint more things they like. I could also use this to follow up on more sincere conversational topics that I do care about, but forget about because of my issues.

The flipside is I feel like this could be misconstrued as "creepy" instead of sincere, which is something I want to avoid. I wouldn't want someone to find my friend notes and think I'm being weird (derogatory). I just want to work on being a better friend because I feel like a lot of my friendships right now are more surface level because I can't remember enough about the people I know to strengthen the relationship.

So, WIBTA if I kept notes about my friends?

Jewish people and Judaism are NOT the problem here, they never were and i do not even understand how you would come to that conclusion. The problem here is colonialism and zionism who go hand in hand. (ik some people like to believe zionism just means jewish people deserve a homeland, but if you look into it you will find out that that is not the case. zionism means colonialism, means expulsion and means massacres.)

Anyway, regardles of Jewish peoples views, they do not deserve antisemitic insults (duuhh? this should be pretty self explanatory) just stick to the views of the person and insult that (if you truly have to but rememeber the block button is free) but do not slander an entire religion and culture. The other thing is; sooo many people within that religion support Palestine too and your hatred/remarks (can) hurt them too. Literally so many jewish people are joining protests who are in support of palestine and they get beaten by the police and they still keep going...

So just like in any other religion (or country or culture), they are not all the same and they do not all hold the same views (again insert duhh here)

That being said i see any antisemitism/jewish hate or implications and remarks that "the jews did this" or that they are somehow at fault, you are trash and you are getting instantly fucking blocked. if you hold these views in general stay the fuck away from me 😘
