Whenever you talked to someone else, he immediately jumps to thoughts on how you’ll be happier with them. You try to assure him you only want him but eventually, he was pushing you away, hurting but wanting you to fall for someone other than him.

🤍Then it was his fear. He feared losing you due to the dangers of the shinobi lifestyle. He lost so many, it wouldn’t be surprising he’d lose you too, wouldn’t it? And what would happen to you if he died? Keeping you an arm’s length away is for the best, for both of you.
