THE ONLY QUESTION IS is it fun, camp, and has aliens. also remember the worst doctor who showrunner is always the current doctor who showrunner. now go watch the new episodes as god intended like you're ten years old and still remember how to experience joy and whimsy.

ruby perfectly designed companion theory continuing… if you think about it, even her fakeout-death-and-resurrection is quite a paint-by-numbers mirror of the ordeals an average nuwho companion may go through somewhere midway through their first series. the thing is, though, for ruby it’s all moving way too fast. she received the key after their very first space outing. she knows the doctor well enough to recognise that he babbles when scared, they seem so close that she’s willing to sacrifice herself for him already. and yet, in universe, time seems to be crawling at a snail’s pace. has it been three days or six months? if six months, why is kastarion-3 the firs time she’s seeing an alien sky? something’s wrong.
