I rewatched some of TCW episodes and ugh, I miss them.

it’s actually so sick and twisted that Lucas starts and ends the season desperately trying to reach out to Max while she’s right in front of him… like episode one she so stuck in her own head, she’s like drowning in her guilt and grief and keeping her headphones on just to get through the day, meanwhile Lucas can’t keep his eyes off her, can’t stop reaching out, even when she’s just not hearing him. and then throughout the season they’re working together to rebuild the relationship between them, they’re communicating and admitting just how much they mean to each other… but in the end Vecna (the physical manifestation of that pain and grief and guilt) is just too strong for them to fight, even together. like he’s right there with her but he still can’t get to her. and then obviously in the end we don’t know where her mind is, but her body is right there in front of him and he’s still there calling out to her like he has been all season… idk I just hope that Lucas’s steady unflinching support and Max’s strength and will to fight are rewarded next season they deserve the be happy together again
