A soft sigh escapes Kalim’s lips, warm ruby eyes looking up at you as if you had hung all the stars in the sky. He was quiet, something that would have surprised anyone, but you knew that despite his loud and warm demeanour, Kalim had a calmer side, still warm but in the sense of the warmth of a comforting blanket instead of the sometimes harsh brightness of the sun.

You hummed, pausing your hands in his hair, looking back at him with a silent question.

He brought your hands down from his hair down to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on your knuckles, paying each joint of each finger mind before placing a kiss on the inside of your wrist and nuzzling into it.

“What was that for,” you hummed, a flustered yet giddy smile on your face. Even if you wanted to hide it, it was nearly impossible. Plus this was Kalim; why would you hide your happiness from him?

Kalim smiled widely at you, still holding your one hand. “Because you deserve good things!”

You deserve good things! Such a simple statement yet it held more weight than its simplicity. 

Good things. 

Kalim nearly drowned you in good things. One may think he gifted you gold and more valuables than humanly possible, and while that was true at the beginning, he had eased up.

And while he does still give you a miniature stroke every now and then by gifting you something that you honestly don’t want to even think about the price of, the ‘good things’ had changed as he got to know you. As you got more comfortable around him. As the lines between friendship and romance blurred until you found yourself clutching onto his cardigan as you melted into one of his warm embraces during a particularly rough day.

He didn’t push for answers, he didn’t push for anything. He was authentic with you from the first day you met him, and you, in turn, became authentic with him.

He never judged you. Never pushed you to go outside your comfort zone. And he stuck back with you where others may have walked on ahead.

You brought up his hands to your lips now and paid the same mind he did to your hands. “You deserve good things too,” you sighed in contentment. “I may not have-”

Kalim stopped you gently by getting his head off your lap and placing a kiss on your forehead. “You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me. That’s enough… you are enough.”

You looked at him, and his bright eyes looked at you with the warmth of the sun. 

Cupping his face between your hands gently, you placed a kiss on his forehead too, lingering there. “Thank you, Kalim… for everything.”

“You don’t have to thank me,” and he placed a chaste kiss on the corner of your mouth. Soft, yet it felt like the sun gently warming your skin.

A/N: Feeling warm and fluffy today.

Kaeya smirks at you and approaches as he takes your hand in his and brings it to his lips. "Actions speak louder than words. Are you ready to prove that you can handle me?" He asks against your fingers, pulling you even closer until his lips press against yours.

Diluc gets a little bit red and places his hand over his face. "The thought it... it's making me feel all hot. Perhaps you should check that I don't have a fever." Despite his nerves he lets you cup his cheeks and pull him into a kiss, confirming that he's not sick.

Itto has the biggest, toothiest grin as he leans over you, looks down at you and sticks his tongue out, "Bold of you to say it to my face. I respect that. Now get ready for the best kiss you've ever experienced." There was a lot more biting that's for sure.

Childe looks at you wide eyed before pulling you against him, his arms locking so you can't back down, "This better not be a one time offer. I can't promise to stop at just one." And he doesn't, he keeps kissing you until your lips are swollen and your lungs hurt for air.

Pantalone pulls you into his lap and gives you the tiniest smile as he looks at you over the rim of his glasses, "My, and what will I get if I let you kiss me? A lover perhaps?" Given how he let you grind against him while you kissed you better be lovers afterwards.

Dottore grabs your chin and makes you look at him. "Oh no. You're not getting away after saying that. I'm going to need a very intense demonstration." His kisses left you moaning and panting, suspecting that he was after a lot more then just that. So much more. All of you.

Wriothesley didn't think you had it in you to ask him something like that, "Well I'm surprised. You should ask for things more often, you just might get what you want." He got what he wanted too, you pressing against him as he claimed your lips over and over.

Neuvillette blinks at you, unsure if he heard you correctly and leans in a bit closer, "Care to repeat that? Or better yet, show me." There's no need for words when you can grab him by the collar of his jacket and let him take every whimper you make against his lips.

Zhongli eases you against him and grazes your ear with his lips, "Then perhaps you should stop wasting your time, my little human." There was no more wasting time after that, only the joined and mixed moans and grunts as your lips and bodies claimed each other.

"repeat after me- frozen. waterfall. where. there. is. no flowing water. what are you even going to take pictures of? the hanging icicles?!"

"... no, but we could go exploring around and then have something warm to eat."

"please? i heard they're setting up tons of food stalls too, and i'll take pictures of those to make grim jealous, if you like. you're losing the bet 9-17, yeah?"

"one, i'm your boyfriend, it's easy for people to "annoy" me with weird rumours about you. two, i'm friends with deuce."

durung waterfall was, as expected, frozen solid, with icicles stabbing the air from every angle (mostly downward). you sighed with a smile as jack lets go of your hand to approach the waterfall, camera slung around his neck. "you should look around, see if there's anything to eat," he starts. "remember to take pictures of every dish you find, okay?"

"got it! should i keep some food aside for you?"

"if you want to, cause it looks like it'll be a while." jack inclines his head, pointing towards the large crowd.

"nope, i'll definitely keep some food aside for you. you go ahead and have fun, okay? don't worry about me!" jack blushes as you kiss his cheek, still flushed as you nudge him towards the crowd.

the sounds of the tall evergreens moving in the air combine in a calming manner with the trickling of small streams, and as you make your way towards the stalls of food residents had set up, you find yourself buying a cup of chai and pakodas, sitting outside and somehow still being able to catch your boyfriend in the hordes of people.

as the sun inches lower to the ground and the lights of every shop turn on, jack makes his way to you with news of you apparently winning the bet, leading 26-17. "wow, these photos look amazing, jack!" you say as you kiss his cheek and stand, finally ready to order some pakodas and chai for him and introduce him to the tried-and-tasted local food.
