Doesn't Donnie have a line against geologists in the show I swear I remember that in any case I raise you the headcanon of Leo's main stereotypically nerdy fascination being rocks and gemstones. He likes them. A lot. Has a collection of geodes because when he was a kid he found one and impulse threw it at Raph's back and it broke and he saw the inside and fell in love.
