There is nothing so surreal as looking out at a classroom with glasses on for the first time

Seeing all those people you know and recognize, but apparently don’t, because they’re all so horrifyingly focused, so real

Their faces in high definition are just so detailed and discernible, and it’s so strange to suddenly not have to identify people by hair and tone and size exclusively

You now know where everyone sits, not just the general direction they are located

It’s not normal. It’s overwhelming. It’s beautiful. It’s chaotic. But most of them just… live like this

Panther prince guy just starts letting her lead the conversation, describing what his home is like…

And then he plays dumb about trampolines, let’s her finish the obvious ending of his sentence. He’s giving her that illusion of control, making her feel smart, like she’s on the same intellectual level as him, and better buys into his tales.

Then, to make it really clear what he’s doing, Christine gets it wrong, and he agrees easily, anyway.
