i think reason why lee know understands han jisung so well, is because when you're good at empathizing with cats specifically, you learn to respect boundaries and how sensitive they can be to little things. i've social anxiety myself btw, and my cat is one of the very few people in my life not judging me for it. often, she'll react to the same things i do. and she knows how to reassure me without stressing me out.

lee know might be more sensitive than he seems at first glance. being in tune with other people (including members he knows well) can be exhausting. though, if you've a friend like han, the energy will neutralize and both can relax more. since you're already on same wavelength which means its less emotional translation going on. lee know knows when to reassure han or when to tease to distract. he also knows to respect han's anxiety boundaries (saying ahead of time when/if he is leaving a room/place, mutual skinship, that can help grounding). meanwhile han understands what lee know is not saying (key to understanding lee know in my opinion).
