Finished this piece! It's a study of a scene from 'Lupin III' but with a Good Omens twist. Recently I was reminded of the movie again, and ever since I saw that little yellow car I've been thinking about recreating it with the yellow bentley instead.

So here's January of my 2024 temperature blanket.

Okay so I have a lot of ocs a few that I don’t use or draw so I’m going to go through them and either scrap or redesign them.

The ones that are just going to be revamped a bit are Willow, Eli, Sam, Oscar, qrow and sera.

I’m thinking of combining Ethan and Emily into one character and the others we’ll see about.

Oh also I do have two new ones but I want to make their character sheets before I post about them.

the two symbols at the top of the d20 are the Bard and the Paladin.

The Paladin was introduced in the Original Dungeons and Dragons Supplemental material, Greyhawk, but was expanded upon multiple times across the added materials. Technically, the Bard as a base class in AD&D 1st Edition (which is what the Stranger Things characters would have been playing) is treated as a Prestige Class, since it's technically not a "legal" choice for a starting character: one would have to begin as a fighter, swap classes to a thief, and then get permission to jump a final time into bard.

There are three Pride flags in the background of the d20.

The Gilbert [Baker] Rainbow Pride Flag in the middle is the only one of them that is era-appropriate, as it was released in 1977 and named for the artist who created it. I technically could have used the other two variants, like the one without the pink stripe that was used between '78-'79 due to a pink fabric shortage, or the six-color version (dropping the turquoise stripe) that became the most popular (and well recognized version of the Rainbow Flag) after the assassination of Harvey Milk in 1979. But I decided to just pick what I liked, since it's technically still era appropriate.

The flag on Eddie's side is the Queer Pride flag, which was created by Pastelmemer in 2015. I chose this flag for Eddie because I personally head-canon him as ambiguously queer. Do I adore all the Kinsey-6, strictly gay versions of Eddie? Absolutely! Do I also adore the bi or pan versions of Eddie? Hell yeah I do! Do I love the transgender versions of Eddie? Fuck yes, it's amazing! However, the delightfully ambiguously queer gremlin nature that Joseph Quinn brought to life in the character of Eddie warmed the cold, dead cockles of my queer little heart. So, I see him as unlabeled but inherently queer, and this flag encompasses him best.

And finally, the flag behind Steve is one we all know and love: the bisexual flag. This flag wasn't actually released until 1998 by Michael Page, so it's definitely not era appropriate! However, I live for bisexual Steve Harrington, because there's no heterosexual explanation for the way Joe Keery plays him in like, nearly all of his scenes with Joseph Quinn. Plus, I'm sorry, you expect us not to see the way the man falls half in love with the other man who takes care of the kid he's basically adopted as his own? Please.

ANYWAY.

this is the first time really drawing these two. Joe Keery and Joseph Quinn have such interesting faces and it was such a fun experiment to play around with line weights and style here. the pose was referenced from a pin i spotted on pinterest, although i think it was more so intended to be one of those "draw the otp" couple dynamic pose prompts? anyway, i'll post it below since I saved it. it's signed by a Gibslythe, but i can't find any connection to anyone aside from the pinterest post. if someone can directly link me to the artist that would be swell since i HATE not being able to credit where credit is due.
