God created Men.
Men created the gun so scumbags can meet God.

This is going to open up a can of noodles I don't want to open on this thread because its getting longer than the Lambton Worm after a week long binge on viagra.
If you want to continue this point, I would request you do an ask or something. Sorry.
But I will say tho, if the action of scarring someone is akin to abuse, Ruby would be an abuser for what she did to Tyrian.
Adam Taurus is not abusive
Adam haters really need to stop projecting their issues onto a fictional character.
Adam was a tragic hero who needed some red pill knowledge. In the matriarchal society that is RWBY, Adam did not have any strong, masculine, role models who could have sat him down and told him that women ain't shit. That what Adam needed to do was fight the good fight, and show humans that Faunus are not to be trifled with.
Adam is kinda like Detlaff, the High Vampire from the Witcher 3 DLC; Blood and Wine. In this instance; a man loved a woman, and when that woman took advantage of his love, a white knight simp killed him when he sought justice for that betrayal.
Adam's tale is a Shakespearean tragedy about a Byronic hero who allowed his broken heart to overtake his heroic nature.
Adam Taurus is a cautionary tale for men in a gynocentric world; don't get close to the Amber Turds lest they take a literal shit on your metaphorical bed.

Shit, man. Adam Taurus was one of the better ones.
Men are taught how to be good husbands from boyhood.
We are pushed into sports to build strength.
We are taught never to cry or show emotion to learn how to be dependable.
We are driven toward the trades to learn a financially secure skill.
We are exposed to war and conflict because we have to protect our families from those who would harm them.
Men are never allowed to forget their responsibilities so that women could forget theirs.
like “how to be a good wife” posts are great but why does no one ever tell men how to be good husbands
Must suck to know that your fav died for absolutely nothing, huh?
This ask has been sitting in my inbox for a decent while, and I've been struggling to decide whether or not I wanted to answer it. I know it's meant to be another rude dig. Perhaps I should've just deleted it and moved on, but you know what?
Yes, nonny. It does suck. It does, absolutely, unequivocally, suck.
It sucks to be invested in a character, to see them in a light that's different from the majority but that you feel is a valid interpretation based on what and how you see the material presented, and have that be the source of ridicule, constant shaming and similar verbal abuse, and even death threats.
It sucks to be beaten over the head with constant reminders that you are a horrible person for daring to disagree with the handling of a fictional character, for the "audacity" to argue that the writing was mediocre-to-poor, and moreover for continuing to enjoy and produce content for that character, as though it's indicative of some arbitrary moral line you've passed without knowledge or hope of returning from; a stain on your worth as a person, and a sign that it's fine to treat you as less than one in sweeping claims and generalizations. All over nothing more than ink on paper, pictures on a screen.
It sucks that people like you, nonny, truly believe that it is okay to send goading remarks like this to someone you don't know beyond an online presence, simply for the pleasure of knowing it upset them; that you poked a nerve, pulled at something they're passionate about. I think most folks must be looking for some sort of "gotcha" moment, where we accidentally reveal - oh, yes, anonymous Tumblr user, you have caught me, I am a horrible person! I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for you darn kids!
But, allow me to humor you insofar as your actual question. Because, yes - it does. It sucks to watch a character's journey, in a show permeated with the themes of hope and strength in unity, end in a manner that spits in the face of those themes. It sucks to have a show slap your wrist and disapprovingly say "this is for everyone else, even two of the show's previously established villains, but not them", and then be told that you were an idiot for even believing it, wanting it, because "it was never going to end any other way, you just weren't paying attention".
The way James dies is horrible. He, as written, dies alone and afraid, knowing that everything he did and tried to do, regardless of intention, was a wasted effort. The writing, in the end, treats this as nothing, and while there is tragedy present in his story, the execution made it impossible for most to sympathize, as evidenced by the majority vocal sentiment by fans and the writers at the end of Volume 8.
It does suck that James died for absolutely nothing, and died so violently, while the writing made play that it was an inevitability. It sucks that, while I cannot yet argue in good faith that it was for nothing, Penny died at the outset of a brand new horizon of possibilities for her character, and died so violently, while the writing twisted to make play that it was necessary. It sucks that Pyrrha died for nothing more than unlocking our main protagonist's underdeveloped Deus Ex Machina, and died so violently, while the writing later made play that it was a noble, expected sacrifice.
Character death, by its nature, sucks, because your audience will always care to some degree. Character death under the pretense of poor writing, as it is in James and Penny's cases, sucks even more, because you watch that care be punished, and punished cruelly.
So, thank you for asking, nonny. Perhaps you wouldn't mind this question in return when we next lose a protagonist.
@adamtaurus2013 also yes.
