ergh I cant believe I’m actually digging into tri content but I suppose I am. did you know that communication issue between them is a thing that persists throughout the Adventure canon no matter how unintentional it’s consistency is

although Koushiro is Taichi’s right-hand man and all that when it comes to digital world crises and stuff, Taichi seems to resist support from Koushiro when it comes to anything personal. We see this in adventure (Entire Dark Masters Arc, Our War Game), 02 (hikari crisis again, bonus if you want to read into the whole taiorato thing), and tri (Taichi in General, the one scene in kokuhaku where they actually interact onscreen, im bitter). We see in alot of these that even when Kou’s trying not to let it slide, he does in the end (whether or not through plot-movement necessity or Writers Didn’t Care)

For someone who’s canonically Taichi’s best friend and is his closest support, they seem to struggle to connect emotionally. while he learns more about him than the others and they work together the best, Taichi seems to have more natural affinity with Yamato, Sora, Takeru even. That’d probably just prey on any insecurity Kou has as a “person that doesn’t connect well with other people”. One of them is always holding something back.

This video pisses me off because everything about it is perfect. It’s extremely well shot and composed. Every decision that went into it from the choreographed sunglasses throw to the bass boosted Nickelback seems deliberate and incapable of improvement.
