Haven’t been posting much about the hostages because of how bad it’s been for my mental health. But in light of Hersh’s body being recovered, I thought I needed to say something. I’m heartbroken. He was so young, had a whole life ahead of him. I’m also very angry. At Hamas, for killing him obviously. But I’m furious at Netanyahu for not taking this crisis seriously. I mean, ffs, it’s been ten months!

please correct me if i’m wrong but aren’t masorti and conservative different names for the same movement? still very american centric in their terminology since conservative is used in canada and the usa while masorti is used everywhere else, but considering the usa has the second largest jewish pop in the world it’s not so surprising that it’s american centric

I have a genuine love of Irish history, culture, food, music etc. but I am VERY aware that Ireland is currently the second most dangerous country in Europe for Jews. I feel a deep and abiding kinship with the Irish people (we have similar histories after all) but I am also terrified to be openly Jewish near any Irish person right now.
