It's come to the point where I can't post my art of two characters being silly together without people tagging it with the ship tag of those two characters or going into the comments or my askbox asking if I ship those said characters. I understand that shippers are the majority of every fandom ever, but people who aren't interested in any type of shipping exist in fandom spaces too. And that doesn't automatically mean that we're AroAce. People seem to think: "not interested in shipping = AroAce = bad" Like why? Maybe we just want silly blorbos being silly blorbos. Let us exist in fandom spaces without you pushing your ships onto us, and that includes tagging our art with a ship tag when it isn't a ship art. And with all due respect, don't push us into participating in shipping either.

this has been said before but I feel like it is very important to view being kind as something you do rather than something that you are because all people have the capacity for meanness and cruelty and often use it inadvertently but the point is to change your behavior and your attitude and practice paying attention and being selfless and sincere and vulnerable and putting kindness and warmth into your actions and words instead of being like oh I value kindness and thus I am such a good person. like it’s about the attempt
