So one thing about me is I REALLY like hurt/comfort and I like thinking about sad things and then thinking about how those things would be resolved.

So I was doing my nails (see below) for the anniversary and thinking about poor Marie grieving George’s death and I was getting really sad to the point of tears and so I was like “aight how is this resolved, how would she be comforted?” And I was like

She wouldn’t be.

I was crying at my fucking desk thinking about someone else grieving and then I had the realization “I can just stop thinking about it cuz it’s fictional and carry on with my night. Marie would have no escape from that pain and no one to turn to for healing. Her parents didn’t give a fuck about George. Peggy was too young to understand what was happening (the way she talked about the event in game makes it seem like most of her knowledge/feelings on the matter are from her adult self looking back at that time, NOT her feelings as a child) and offer relevant support. The town all thought she was crazy. Then she was completely isolated. She had no one to take the pain away.

See this is why I need the fix it au because my sanity can’t handle a few minutes of a FICTIONAL SCENARIO

I really just want to express how much this game means to me! I watched my first play through December 6, 2023 and I’ve been hooked ever since! The game developers, the voice actors, and overall every single person who has worked on this game worked so hard and it 100% shows. The story is so well written and the voice actors do an incredible job helping bring that to life! Although I’ve always found connections in characters of the media I watch I have never felt so connected to them as much as I am in this game. This game deserves so much more recognition and as a person who’s been in this fandom for around 5-6 months now I don’t think I’ve ever met so many wonderful and talented people in a fandom! So if you haven’t PLEASE check out this game! <33
