Maya didn’t win the egg hunt year 1, Abigail won but didn’t care for the hat and gave it to Maya because she figured that since she’s a farmer a sunhat could be useful to her. Maya traded an amethyst for it and wears it when the weather is Sunny and wore it almost every day in the summer.
