I have a confession to make. I actually unironically like Connor’s beanie look. I genuinely think he looks cool in that beanie. I don’t get people who hate this look and people who think it’s ‘cute’.

my friend, a member of queer community, forgot the phrase "queer community" yesterday and instead said "women and other troubled folk"

I wish all fic writers would tag it when they write Jiang Cheng as an absolute asshole. Give a guy some warning, my heart can't take it unprepared.

Every time I am so baffled when I start on a modern au mdzs fic and then realize that it's set in the US.

It's wild to me that it's the most common modern au setting for mdzs. I haven't checked, but I'm most certain that there's not nearly as much modern au's set in Russia (if any at all) in Russian fics.

I feel like it wouldn't even occur to people outside the US to write mdzs fics set in their own country.

It's kinda funny.

Disclaimer: I love mdzs fics whatever the setting. I've encountered so many amazing ones set in the US. And I have so much respect for fic writers, where would fandoms even be without their hard work?

I just genuinely seem to be unable get used to it. Every time it's a small shock that makes my brain stumble.

Me: A handshake is a symbol of trust. My friend: And also of being gay. Anime taught me that.
