wheeze as someone who has an english degree this is a DELIGHT but also as someone who grew up with two spoken languages in the house and is now learning a third holy fuck this also makes my language brain hurt so muuuch because like i rationalized it as like.. dry but also surrounded by air instead of water? because the air equivalent of wet isnt inherently “dry” but also totally could be! because the original context doesn’t state that fish dont know they're ~submerged~ in wet just that they dont know they're wet and like.. we can rationalize we're dry but we dont think about it?? funnily enough though we actually also don't know when we're wet! our bodies process the sensations of cold and wet as the same things! language language language such a neat thing jack ramblings jack screaming into the void reblog stuffs!!

I’m so emotional about dinosaur stuffed animals,,, there are these creatures, extinct long before any of us were alive, but we found their bones and their eggs and their footprints. And we made drawings and models of what they could’ve looked like. And we made them into stuffed animals so we could hold them. We made them soft so we could love them. I’m sobbing
