After Ohma's fight with Inaba ended with Ohma coming out victorious in battle, you, Ohma, Kaede, Kazuo, and Lihito went to one of the restaurants on the island where Kazuo Yamashita ordered lots of victory meat for Ohma.

Lihito and Ohma sat on either side of you at the table. Ohma scarfed his meat down. He looked up at you with slate gray eyes as he watched you drink your beer slowly. "Hey y/n...so uh...are you single." Asked Lihito with a cheeky grin.

But before you could answer Kaede stepped in. "Um Lihito.....sorry but I'm not interested......." You say with a sheepish smile as you continue to eat your meat.

Lihito just sighed and he ate his food in silence. Ohma just grinned smugly as he knew that he was victorious once again.

Kazuo decided to break the tension by making a toast to Ohma's win against Inaba. "Ohma.....did you get yourself looked at.....you have scratches on your face." You say with a calm demeanor.

"I'm fine..... it's nothing life threatening y/n." Replies Ohma with a slight smile.

You blushed as Ohma smiled at you so you turned away quickly drinking your beer fast. Ohma only chuckled softly as he noticed your red face. Everyone drank to their content until you couldn't handle it anymore.

You laid your head on Ohma's shoulder already to your limit with your liquor. You laughed softly and snuggled on his shoulder unaware of what you were doing because you were wasted. Ohma chuckles softly once more as he caresses the top of your head.

Kade soon walks away with Kazuo to help him take a drunk Lihito back to his room leaving you and Ohma alone together.

"Ohma......Hic-up!" You laugh with joy. Ohma looked at you with a gentle look, He thought your flirtatious side was cute. But what got him the most was the way you would look at him with such longing and desire in your eyes.

He soon picks you up bridal style and he takes you back to your room. You begin to to shower his lips with small kisses. Ohma just chuckles with amusement.

Let's Scare Your Readers!

Combine the techniques below with the techniques for building suspense to give your readers a palm-sweating sensation!

Darkness

If absolute darkness doesn't make sense in your story, aim for semi-darkness: dusk, a single lantern/candle, heavily curtained windows, a thick canopy of trees, etc. Flickering lights that create confusing shadows can also be effective.

Let the darkness pool gradually around your MC. Show the night or fog rolling in, the camp-fire subsiding, or the candles burn down one by one.

Examples:

The candle sputtered. The light wavered.

The lamp cast its smoky light on the brick walls.

The night was silent, but for the dry rustling of leaves as the wind whispered through the trees.

Sound

Of all the senses, the sense of hearing serves best to create excitement and fear.

the clacking of the villain's boots on the floor tiles, the ticking of the wall clock, a dog barking outside, the roaring of a distant motor, a door slamming somewhere in the house, water dripping from the ceiling, the chair squeaking, the whine of the dentist's drill, the scraping of the knife on a whetstone, a faraway siren wailing the heroine's own heartbeat thudding in her ears.

When the surroundings are dark, your MC will grow to be more aware of the surrounding noise, even if it's not relevant to the plot.

Chill

Make it uncomfortably cold for the MC, and your readers will shiver with them.

powercut cutting off the heating, nightfall naturally bringing in lower temperatures.

winter, evening, a cool breeze that chills everything, survivors running our of fuel, the ceiling fan is over-active, stone builindg/caves/sbuterranean chambers tend to be cold.

Describe how the cold pinpricks the MC's skin, stunting their thinking and making them shiver.

The opposite can also be effective: turn up the temperature using a stove, an overheated motor, or the sweltering sun to make the MC sweat.

Isolation

This is a common technique: let the MC face the monster alone with no external help. It's also easier to limit the resources and escape routes available for the MC.

an abandoned factory, remote mountaintop, the depth of an unexplored cave.

It can also be more everyday locations: a construction site, the sewer, a malfunctioning bathroom.

Meet the Monster

When describing the threat, spread out your descriptions so that (1) the scene has constant action (2) you have material to build up later.

Good details to show:

hands, fingers, nails, talons, claws

the sound of the voice, growl, roar

the smile, teeth

the texture of skin, fur, scales.

Get Visceral

Never tell your readers that the MC is scared. Describe the fright using these physical effects:

the skin crawling, breath stalling, scalp pricking, clenching of the chest, stomach curling, heart thudding, sweat tricking down, clogged throat, pulse in the ears, cold sweat, chills up/down the spine, stomach knotting, breathless, etc.

The Gory Bits

Instead of describing everything, limit yourself to particular details, keeping overall description short. Non-stop gore doesn't shock - its bores.

Create a contrast: the child's mutilated corpse still clutches the doll. The brains from the baby's plt skull spill across the fluffy pink blanket.

Use similes, comparing gruesome buts to something from ordinary life. The intestines look like spaghetti in tomato sauce. The blood spilling from the mouth looks like lipstick.

It’s a fan fiction story I made of Kengan Ashura with my Kengan oc’s Satomi Ishikawa female lead, Ohma Tokita as the male lead, and the rest of Kengan cast.

Synopsis: Satomi Ishikawa, a former elite guard of Metsudo's fangs gets called back into action to take part in the Kengan tournaments and helps guard Metsudo and his daughter Sayaka. She was reluctant at first seeing as she retired from that position at the age of 19 due to her depression because of a tragedy in her family's lineage, but she accepts seeing as there's a better chance of finding what she's looking for there than in her city. Now at 23 she's become the SWAT captain of her own squad team and Looking for the man who murdered her father and 3 older brothers. As soon as she arrives, she comes to find out that the man is competing in the tournament but she's not the only one who wants vengeance and justice.

Chapter one: The street fight

10 years ago tragedy fell upon two young gladiators Satomi Ishikawa and Ohma Tokita. The girl lost her father and three older brothers and Ohma Tokita lost his father figure Niko Tokita to the same murderous maniac Kiryu Setsuna.

Though the two were from different worlds one being born into fortune and wealth and a loving family and the other an orphan living in poverty but was loved just as equally as the other.

They both buried their loved ones and vowed to get stronger. Satomi went to college and became many things. But the most important ones were the S.W.A.T. CORPORAL, General of the army of Japan, and being one of the most powerful fangs of Metsudo Katahara.

Ohma on the other hand trained hard to get where he is now. Strong, powerful, undefeated, invincible. The man had it all. He was pursued by many women but was never interested in any of them that is until he met her, Satomi Ishikawa for the first time.

The two now full grown adults, are walking down the same street going opposite directions. Satomi Ishikawa walked with a coquettish swaying of her hips that bewitched every single man there. But not yet Ohma. He saw her coming his way.

She had long wavy ivory hair, Milky skin, long black and thick eyelashes, and blue eyes like sapphire gems.

She wore some black sleeveless crop top that revealed her double D cleavage, some ripped black jeans that hugged her hips perfectly and defined her voluptuous bottom. Her high heeled boots clacked as she continued to walk quietly as she sucked on a blue Popsicle.

As she got closer to Ohma Both he and Satomi looked at each other with a clear sense of power. Satomi gave him a bewitching glare and smirked at him slyly as she continued to charm Ohma with her skilled Popsicle sucking.

"Heh." He let out a chuckle as he grinned at her with interest. Though it was a quick interaction the two didn't seem that interested in each other until they were surrounded by a group of individuals who were stalking Ohma and others who were trying to get with Satomi.

Since they were all men, Satomi decided to humor all of them a bit. She slowly and steadily swallowed her Popsicle whole.

Some of them blushed and others smiled intrigued at her boldness. She licked her plump red lips and gave everyone a coy smile. She threw the Popsicle stick away and then looked at the individual's surrounding both Ohma and her.

"I say...you there....tall, dark, and handsome...it seems that you and I are in a bit of a pickle." Spoke Satomi with such a flirtatious grin.

Ohma was unfazed but he smirked not just at her but the individual's surrounding the two of them.

"I'm just curious but please raise your hand if you're here for me?" All of the individuals raised their hands.

"Tsk, tsk....it's not good to lie to a woman like me....you see I know most of you but I don't know the other half that is facing this gladiator over here." She says angelically as she points at Ohma and the egotistical gang members.

"Oh don't worry sweetheart...we'll be coming for you after we finish with him."  Spoke one of the gang members with a hungry look of lust on his face.

Ohma then grabbed Satomi by her arm. She looked at him with a puzzled expression.

He looked down at her with a composed demeanor. "Get behind me and don't get in the way." Growled Ohma in a low husky tone.

Satomi smirked at him and gave him a charming glare. She put a hand to his chest and looked up at him with a seductive look.

"You're adorable. You really think I'm that weak? You haven't seen nothing yet." Spoke Satomi in a honey coated tone as she caressed Ohma's face.

Ohma looked at her with one eyebrow raised still calm. He didn't understand what she meant.

"Alright.....you all have 30 seconds to try to kidnap me and take me with you before I take you all to prison." Replied Satomi with an amused giggle.

"Hey! Are you crazy?" Spoke Ohma with a puzzled look.

"Ssshhhh! I'll be with you in just a minute cutie pie." Spoke Satomi with a flirtatious tone as she put her index finger to his lips and winking at him.

Ohma just looked puzzled but he didn't say a thing. " Focus on taking care of those Yakuza boys....I'll focus on mine over here. Or unless you can't handle them?" Spoke Satomi with a playful grin.

Ohma sighs and rolls his eyes in annoyance. "Woman....you don't know what you're getting yourself into." Replied Ohma firmly as he took his fighting stance.

"You're going to regret saying those words stud." She giggles once more as she too takes a fighting stance.

One of the group members from each group charged at both of them. Ohma begins to grin sinisterly as he punched one of the gang members without a second thought contorting his face badly.

He quickly turns to where Satomi is to beat up the other guy but instead he's bewildered at the woman's fighting abilities.

She already had 5 of the individuals on her side knocked down to the ground. She grabbed one by the collar of his shirt and giggled in amusement as she threw him violently to the wall.

Satomi then looks at him with a grin as coy as a fox. Ohma is taken aback but soon he begins to grin slyly. A few other gang members now run up to him to try to take him down but of course the man has very high instincts as he took them all down in a heart beat.

Ohma kneed a few in their guts and then dislocated their arms. A few of them he had discombobulated making them fall to their knees and then Ohma knees them on their faces or even sends a powerful kick to knock them out cold.

He then turned to her to see how far she had gotten. The two soon got cornered back making them now stand back to back.

Satomi looks at him and smiles mischievously. Ohma bit his bottom lip in excitement as he knew where this was going. The two worked together to take down all of the individuals.

She would send jab after jab and then Ohma would step in and upper cut the guys just to catch them off guard.

"Not bad woman." Replied Ohma with a slight grin.

The two kept covering each other's back It was like the two were nsync with each other. If Satomii wasn't aware of her blind spots he would take down the fools trying to land a blow on her and she would do the same for him. A few hours later the two were standing on a pile of beat up individuals.

The two panted heavily with satisfied grins on their faces. She then grabbed her walkie talkie and pressed the red button.

"This is general Ishikawa. I have captured the targets. I repeat, I have captured the targets." Replied Satomi with a calm demeanor.

"10-4 on our way Corporal." Replied One of the officers through the walkie talkie.

She then turns to smile brightly at Ohma. "Thanks for your help!" Replies with a bright grin as she shook his hand.

He only nodded his head. Suddenly without warning he threw a punch towards her face but she swiftly evaded it.

Satomi continued smiling at him as she kept dodging blows. But he wasn't really attacking her it was more like Ohma was testing her. "So I take it you want to be taken down town too?" Speaks Satomi unfazed as she now punched him in the face.

"You know it's a poor choice trying to hit a corporal, chief of police." Replied Satomi with a sly smirk.

"Heh! I'm not trying to land a blow on you Corporal Ishikawa.....I'm testing you. I'll admit....you gave me a pretty good sucker punch to the face. " He grinned seeming more interested in her than ever.

Satomi yawns. "You should get out of here while you have the chance. If my officers see you they'll think that you were also here to jump me." She replies bored now ragging through every individuals wallets looking for ID's to send to the main branches.

Ohma grins and chuckles a bit. " I'll leave but I still want to test your strength. We should spar some time." Spoke Ohma in a low growl.

She turned to face him with a cold glare and a smug smirk. "Oh....did I trigger a nerve?" Ohma replies with a provocative grin.

As he was about to leave he stopped in his tracks and turned back to face her. "Before I leave....tell me what's your full name? I want to remember the name of the woman who sucker punched me." He chuckled softly.

Satomi grinned at him playfully. "It's Satomi Ishikawa. And yours?" Replied Satomi with a playful aura.

He gives her a foxy grin. "Ohma Tokita. See ya around." He says with a coy grin as he soon began to walk away arrogantly with his hands in his jacket pockets giving.

Satomi chuckles softly. "He's a stud alright....but maybe a little cocky."

Satomi's whole S.W.A.T. Team came and cleaned up the place. They placed all the criminals in the special van and took them down town.

"Corporal Ishikawa? Are you alright?" Asked one of her fellow colleagues.

She nods her head smiling brightly. "It was a fun night. I met someone who was interesting Toshiyuki-san." She spoke with a small smile on her face.

"I see. Man or woman?" Tokshiyuki asked with a hint of curiosity gleaming in his eyes.

"A man of course. We were so in synced when we fought all of these idiots-"

"You mean he helped you! Was he really that skilled!?" Spoke Tokshiyuki a bit surprised and jealous.

She only smiles and begins to walk away. "My what a night." She laughs to herself heading straight home.

Her mood soon changes as soon as she sees Shika and her ex-boyfriend in front of her house.

"Well if it isn't the expired coupon and her bitch! Why is garbage standing outside of my house? The trash truck doesn't come till Tuesday. " She smirks at them slyly knowing she's already getting under their skin because of how angry the two looked.

"Oh this is going to be fun." Thought Satomi to herself.

Ohma soon pulls out of you slowly making you whimper softly once more. "Ohma.......you broke the bed." You say in a soft whisper.

"Really.....that's what you're thinking about right now?" He chuckles as he stands up and stretches.

"you better not put your clothes back on like that! Shower first! I'll give you some extra clothes." You say already nagging at him.

"in case you haven't noticed.... Your clothes don't exactly fit me." Replied Ohma with a puzzled look.

"Not mine.....I have something of my older brother that will fit you....so go shower.* You say blushing still.

He lifts you up and takes you to the bathroom with him. he cups your chin as he kisses you with hunger as if you were his last meal.

"mmm.....ah....mmmm..." You whimpered softly into his mouth as he continues to devour your mouth like a hungry wolf.

Ohma pulls back slowly in which your kiss breaks with a pop of the parting of your lips. "I love you....so much." You whisper softly as you caress his cheek.

He grabs your hand and inhales your scent before biting your palm gently.

He leans in and whispers in your ear. "I love you too." While biting your earlobe.

"Ohma.......I know you don't like relaxing in a bath but....let me pamper you this once.....please?" You spoke quietly with a small smile on your face.

Ohma just chuckles and nods his head. You begin to giggle as he lets you shampoo his hair with some herbal shampoo, Ohma grabs some of the body wash and he begins. To scrub his body and then he begins to scrub yours.

The two of you come out of the bathroom an hour later freshly clean. You wore a skin tight denim romper with a white crop top tank top and some cute beach sandals while Ohma wore a black ac/DC T-shirt and some denim jeans with some black sneakers.

You two met up with everyone else for breakfast. They saw the two of you together. Lihito finally understood what Kaede was trying to tell him yesterday how someone already had their eyes on you already.

Kazuo only smiles as he is happy to see Ohma and you finally together. Kaede grabs your shoulder and smiles at you. She whispers in your ear.

"he didn't let me or Kazuo sleep a wink last night nor this morning you two were very loud but I will forgive you since we'll be taking over for me right so I can get some shut-eye." kaede replies with a smile.

You look down a bit embarrassed but then you laugh and nod your head. Ohma brought you closer to him and made you sit next to him as he devoured his food.

You ate at your own pace and stole glances of him as he continued to eat. You were very happy and glowing. Everyone grabbed their drinks and clinked their drinks together in cheers.
