Ooooh, The Potential!
Ooooh, the potential!
And what if character B doesn't know their the villain? What if they had forgotten?
Or character B messed up and now they need A's help, but of course, they're not actually going to admit to that.
Maybe A is made into an unwitting accomplice.
Maybe they're in too deep to leave now.
Or it's a trap, A thinks they've become friends, and B is just luring them in.
What if B changes their mind about the betrayal? They are friends now, aren't they? But it's too late. What's been started can't be stopped.
Character A and Character B join forces to defeat a powerful villain.
Little does Character A know that Character B is the villain.
