Jayde has two humanoid bodies and only two. I imagen it was standard military practice so if one body was destroyed in the line of duty a second body could be up and ready to go instead of waiting for one to be constructed and being left vulnerable in that time period. Think of it like respawning in a video game. Anywho, the 'real' body they have is technically their large body that's bigger than Thomas's engine as that was their battle-use body. The smaller one that's closer to Gordon's height is their piolet body that they would fly their quadcopter with and handle the more delicate situations with, like fixing a soldier's wound.
