Technically, everything is canon now
I know I’m late to the party but can we please talk about Ben Kenobi from Star Wars #15
I mean look at this loser: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Professional Mother Hen
He still talks to Qui-Gon, which is both amusing and heartbreaking:
He is called upon to beat up a bunch of sandpeople, and to him it’s like a jog in the park:
When people come knocking at odd hours, he doesn’t even bother picking up his weapon, he just levitates it just out of view of the door
He still has dimples and is still SASSY AS HELL
SO
MUCH
SASS
His life is just one heartbreaking reminder after another
And he’s getting older
But he’s still the most badass Jedi around,
with a heart of gold to match - and I’m fairly sure his smile can cure some illnesses:
Conclusion: Ben Kenobi is, in fact, the exact cinnamon roll that we’ve been looking for.
JASON AARON NEEDS TO WRITE MORE OLD BEN JOURNALS
We’re gonna start with very small disturbances. Can you make bird noises?

Something I love about the Loki series is this like subtle theme of not being the best but the favorite?
Mobius isn’t Ravonnas only analyst, but he’s the only one who put cup rings on her furniture.
Loki isn’t the strongest, smartest, or sneakiest of all the iterations, but he’s the one that Mobius chose and consistently saved.
I think that’s very much so the mood between the fanbase and Loki. He’s not the biggest money maker and doesn’t have the longest screen time. But the fans loved him, even if he didn’t appear in certain films, Tom Hiddleston was still a headliner at most conventions because of the love for Loki.
I just think that this subtle little theme of being special without being the greatest is very fitting and precious
I meant to have this out for @jedijune’s first prompt, “There is no emotion, there is peace,” but oh, well.
Obi-Wan is sometimes accused of being somewhat repressed – not demonstrative enough, not emotional enough. On the other hand, he’s just as often characterized as an emotional wreck.
What struck me while going through some of the hardest moments of his life is how powerful his emotions actually are when he is faced with loss. More often than not, you can see the passion, the fear, or the heartbreak.
But far from being wrecked by those feelings, Obi-Wan deals with them with the endurance and steadfastness of a Jedi. Obi-Wan feels very deeply, there’s no question about that, but what makes it so poignant is how quiet his grief actually is, once the initial emotional reaction has passed.
Obi-Wan can’t help but feel deeply, that’s who he is. His instinctive emotions are just as strong as anyone else’s. But Obi-Wan’s grief – the bone-deep sorrow that lingers past the first emotional reaction, that carries years into a person’s life, the conscious pain brought forth by loss – is very soft. It’s clearly deep as well, but it’s contained, private.
It’s very Jedi of him, to feel so much, and yet to only allow himself to express it quietly – unobtrusively. To only choose to be calm and measured once he is in control of himself. To strive for peace.
I just love that aspect of him. Powerful, but quiet.
Just like his love.
Yup. Vos shipped Ventrobi. Definitely. Obi-Wan had a hard time trying to skirt around the issue.

Every month I make a tutorial for my patrons, and last month’s tutorial was really different than the previous ones I’ve made! It was on warmups and exercises for improving your skills, and in it I demonstrate six different exercises that get me into the creative flow and help me improve my art. When I thought about this topic, I realized that it’s not just about warming up our hands, but also our minds. It’s so important to let go of perfectionism and allow ourselves to experiment and learn! Here’s a little preview, giving you a glimpse not only of the exercises but also of the ideas about improvement and mindset that I talk about in this tutorial. Do you struggle with perfectionism when you draw?
You can get access to this and also all of my previous tutorials (9 in total!) through my patreon for just $5 a month! find them here: patreon.com/loish
"With speed he hadn't possessed in years Obi-Wan closed the distance between them, wrapping her in his steady arms. He felt her release a shuddering breath as she melted against him, burying her face into his shoulder. He lowered her hood and placed a hand on the back of her head, holding her tightly.
"You got old," she said after several moments with an old familiar teasing tone."

I freaking love these two. There is so much to their relationship that The Clone Wars just wasnt able to cover, (and thats okay) there was a lot to cover in the show. But I always believed Obi-Wan was a warm and fuzzy Grand-Master and Ahsoka was his little ray of sunshine.
Pride and sadness flooded Qui-Gon as he pictured Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. He looked forward to the day that the two of them would work side by side as Jedi Knights, but with this thought no image came.

@kenobi-source event 02: favorite quote
after the war ends, Obi-Wan desperately wants to quit the Council, but Mace keeps rejecting his resignations
so Obi-Wan decides to take matters into his own hands: if he can’t resign formally, he’s going to get himself kicked off
he starts by showing up to Council meetings intoxicated, and wearing increasingly outrageous (and frequently revealing) clothing
when his own efforts fail to get any reaction out of Mace, he recruits outside assistance
he sends Anakin wearing a fake beard and mustache to attend as him (which has the side benefit of convincing Anakin that he never, ever, wants anything to do with the Council)
Cody attends wearing Obi-Wan’s clothes and lightsaber, but making no other attempt to disguise himself
Quinlan breaks in during a meeting, makes out with Obi-Wan for two minutes straight, then smashes through a window to make his daring escape
Ahsoka does her best Hondo impression and shows up to kidnap Obi-Wan in the middle of a session, with Rex and the Bad Batch (in their normal, full armor) as her dastardly pirate crew
and while certain members of the Council are outraged, Obi-Wan still can’t even get Mace to consider his resignation
of course, Mace isn’t going to tell Obi-Wan that his efforts have backfired: this is the most entertainment Mace has had in YEARS, he’s wasn’t letting Obi-Wan quit before he started this, and now at least half the reason is that he wants to see what Obi-Wan’ll try next
It is our duty to make sure our Obi-Wans feel all the love. at all cost.
I present to you:
Obi-Wan Cityboy Kenobi being misserable in all kinds of different weather and a guide how to take care of him.
If you ever find small Obi-Wan near you, you should definitely follow these steps.
Example 1: If you stumble upon a lonely Obi-Wan, don't leave him in the cold, he doesn't like that. Even if you give him a warm coat. Take him home for a cup of got cocoa.
Example 2: Don't leave your Obi-Wans in the rain. He doesn't like that and will immediately try to seek shelter. The longer you make him stay in the rain, the more grumpy he will get. If you need to make him go into bad weather, at least offer him an umbrella.
Example 3: You might thing that if Obi-Wan doesn't like cold and wet weather, that he would appreciate some place dry and warm. Don't be mistaken, even those places aren't ideal for little Obi-Wan. You might want to at least give him an icecream before sending how off to a sandy hellhole.
Example 4: If you want to make your Obi-Wan happy, bring him into a town or a City. Jedi Temple on Coruscant is ideal place for small Obi-Wans. He enjoys calm places with mild weather, no extremes. He will thank you a lot in you won't force him into wild nature. Maybe even hug you for a moment.
Hope this guide helped you take care of your Obi-Wans. They deserve to be loved and cherished 💞
Felt nostalgic tonight after The Bad Batch. Miss seeing these three weekly. They showed me that family Isn't just blood.
