thank u all so much for taking the time to read tough, for showing excitement for the chapters every time i post them!

earlier, i was in the process of writing chapter 8 but i took some time off writing to reread the entire book, the chapters i have already written and have yet to publish. after asking the few ao3 writers i know and from the very long comment i got from a helpful anon that listed a few tips to improve my writing, I’ve decided to rewrite the whole series altogether.

i appreciate the constructive feedback you all give me to help with my writing, yes i am planning on finding a beta reader but right now it’s just me 😅 all your words are very much helpful as i am now in the middle of rewriting the au again, though yeah this will set me back a bit with all the ideas i have in my head, i know that the perfect book does not write itself over night. I’ve realized i lack a lot as a competent writer, and that i have so much to work on and to improve!

I will be keeping the chapters already posted as is. I’ll post the rewritten chapters in another link as it is going to be a whole rewrite. the title will be kept the same, however a little bit of the plot and some key informations are subject to change!

on that note, remember people are sensitive too and read everything you submit. i appreciate constructive criticism but i can definitely tell when disrespect is disguised as criticism. i am not just a writer, i am also a person that feels. please be kinder to each other!

At least you had the comfort of Holly, the large dog wouldn’t leave your side for a second. He was like a body pillow you never knew you needed.

You know the real reason why you couldn’t sleep last night – why you stared at the ornate brass artwork on the walls for hours on end.

Your brain feels fried, most certainly frizzled like all your synapses have died pathetically from the shocking conversation not long ago.

“A-Are you here as a waiter?” you croak, sitting down on the multitude of steps.

A sigh of relief falls from your lips as Jungkook pulls up into the empty parking space in between Namjoon’s SUV and Seokjin’s Crossover. Eventually, he puts the car into neutral and kills the engine of his Mercedes Benz AMG. Looking out of the window you’re left speechless at the view outside. It certainly makes up for the last two and a half hours spent watching the city surroundings pass by nonchalantly. You step out of the car and see the two gorgeous cabins you’ll be staying in for the week are situated in front of tranquil mountain slopes, dusted in flurries of piercing white snow. The view of a stunning crystal clear blue waterfall tipping over the mountain’s edge and cascades down rocks as the sounds of the water thunders loudly in the background was enough to put you at ease.

You’re startled from your momentary visual bliss when two hands wrap around your waist and entwine together on your tummy, pulling you closer to him and creating a feeling of comfort and warmth. A head of black hair finds itself on your shoulder, his hair tickling your skin as kisses are placed on your cheek lovingly. Cigarette smoke rolls lazily throughout the air, adding a lazy cloud that makes it difficult to see the pretty woman Yoongi has known since his childhood.

“Are you even listening to me, Min?”

Lifting his head slowly, he can only smirk at her expectant eyes. “Who doesn’t listen to you, Yuqi? You’re as loud as an air horn.”

She grimaces at him, pouring him another glass of dark red wine. “Shut up,” she snaps, leaning down on the island counter.

He can only snort, looking down at the wine glass that sparkles beneath the large brass chandelier overhead.

There’s silence for a while, only the small sounds of Namjoon cleaning and polishing his sniper rifle sometimes bleeding into the air.

“I just think that you need to… detach yourself from all the pain you’ve been through. Maybe try to build up a new life. A life that can make you happy. Right, Joonie?”

The usually mute man only nods at her words, boring his deep brown eyes in her direction.

“I don’t need to be happy. I need to just be content with what I’m doing. And that’s working out for me so far.” Yoongi retorts, guzzling the wine in mere seconds.
