Reposting this cause I just had a whole ass discussion with a friend about the differences between Valkyries and God Eaters.

The ultimate goal of Valkyries is eradicating the Honkai, as such, they should do everything they can to survive.

Meanwhile, the ultimate goal of God Eaters is survival, and while they should survive, sacrifice is far more common.

As such, having Himeko in God Eater would be, in my opinion, massive wake up call to the God Eaters. Like, "hey, you want to survive, but the Aragami are kinda making that hard. Also sacrificing the only people that can fight them isn't the best plan"

It's said in the anime that Aragami can't be eliminated, so the main goal that Himeko is used to is gone. But the need for survival isn't.

More people means more God Eaters to fight the Aragami, meaning more land that's recovered, which in turn makes room for more people.

God Eaters are too hung up on sacrifice while Valkyries are too focused on elimination.

Anyway that's my two cents for the dozen or so people that follow me.
