Jeyna-perspective - Percy Jackson Is A Gary Stu - Tumblr Blog
Does anyone else just really want 4 eyeshadow palettes for $100? Like I know one of thse palettes is discontinued and one was limited edition, but they weren't very popular. And I like just want releases that last longer.
I just want to be able to buy 4 eyeshadow palettes for <$100 including shipping and tax? Like one is discontinued, one was limited edition, and I hate this. I hate the idea of these releases that can't stay about for 1 year.
I break so many grammer rules
I can't continue the sentence if my dialogue ends with a !
“This is your daily, friendly reminder to use commas instead of periods during the dialogue of your story,” she said with a smile.
I'll never understand Perachel or Percabeth shippers. You guys either hate Rachel or hate Annabeth or you manage to like them both.
One thing you definitely won't do however, is hold Percy accountable for anything. Nothing he does is ever problematic.
Anti-Perachel
So Rachel kisses Percy and tells him she likes him. He doesn't turn her down, letting her believe it.
She's then making a deal with her dad that she will go to the finishing school in exchange for taking the family helicopter to come help him.... meanwhile Percy is asking Annabeth for a kiss. Even though he knows Rachel likes him and is waiting for him.
And yet, when Rachel decides she wants to become Oracle afterwards, he's over here accusing her;

[Percy, who asked Annabeth for a kiss behind Rachel's back, gaslighting Rachel] : Oh what? Is it because i'm not the hero? You were just using me to get to Olympus??
Percy's internal thoughts: Yeah, I may have asked Annabeth for a kiss but Rachel was still supposed to like me.😳 I can't believe she was using me.
(My one problem with Hestia- that she didn't expose him right then and there. I would've told Rachel that she doesn't owe Percy any explanation since he's the one asking other girls for a kiss behind her back)
And then again;

As if he hadn't already made a move by asking Annabeth for a kiss that Rachel just doesn't know about.😒Still playing the innocent card.
That noone in this fandom had a problem with this since the books were released honestly worries me. Not even that. That there's so many posts about how he's the best man in the universe. Are you sure about that?
I'm not even sure why you guys like him. When Rachel's helicopter is crashing, its Annabeth that rushes in to save her. And when Nico said Rachel had disappeared, Percy was more annoyed at her for stealing his Pegasus than concerned about the guard dragon at Camp Half-Blood. And when her oracle powers stop working, he just hightails it outta there instead of helping her. He's also the one who said that she looked like the type to use a fork to rip holes in her jeans and compared her to the nymph who gave him a long-ass lecture in botl.
Anti-Percabeth
Same goes for Percabeth shippers.
He doesn't bring up their kiss for an entire year as he hangs out with Rachel, who he knows Annabeth is jealous of.
They're heading into a war in less than a week where either of them could die but rather than be at camp helping train the other demigods or even hanging out with them since he's known them since he was 12, Percy is busy taking Rachel on a vacation with his family.
You realise those could've been Annabeth or Percy's last days and Percy chose to not spend it with her, right?
Forget the romance for a minute. Is this even what friends do?? He's the most powerful demigod they have. The only child of the big three on their side since Thalia is with the hunters and Nico is awol. In SOM, Percy was said to be the best swordsman camp had in the last 100 years. But rather than help them train for a war they could all die in; a war he's gonna be leading them in...he's at the beach? (Beckendorf had to go on a life-or-death mission with a guy he was expected to pick up from the beach!! and dies while surrounded by water- Percy's element. Atleast show you care about your friends by putting in training or preparation for the mission but no, Percy "just pick me up from my vacation at the beach when its time to go on our dangerous quest" Jackson is who Beckendorf got partnered up with)
Annabeth then needs to fill him in on whats been going on at camp for the past week- the reason why the Ares-Apollo cabin have been fighting for more than a week since Percy doesn't know because he didn't keep in touch while on his break.
"They captured it in a raid in Philadelphia last week. Some of Luke's demigods were there with that flying chariot. The Apollo cabin seized it during the battle, but the Ares cabin led the raid. So they've been fighting about who gets it ever since."
How long was he even gone for?? Because he said he left multiple times before that as well when things got more serious at camp. (In other words, the more his friends needed him, the more he left) Less than a week before the prophecy and war he's gonna be leading the campers in, Percy doesn't even know what they've been upto. (The dude who was literally at the beach relaxing is now complaining about how the other demigods who were actually at camp doing something aren't taking things seriously)
Annabeth tries to give him an opportunity, bringing up Beckendorf and Silena and important people and he just changes the subject to her dad. He couldn't reassure her even once that he would pick her but then has the nerve to ask her for a kiss in the middle of battle. But once Rachel appears, is back to following Rachel everywhere.
Rachel then dumps him. And Percy still has Annabeth to fall back on. And she just trusts him for some reason.
Like you guys realise he never actually turned Rachel down after she kissed him, not even in his head (even if he did ask Annabeth for a kiss) and if Annabeth had died, could have easily pretended he hadn't done anything and just got with Rachel (and Rachel would also be none the wiser)
Its just a bit too coincidental that Beckendorf who witnessed the perachel kiss, and who Percy told not to tell Annabeth, dies before making it back to camp where he could tell Annabeth; And Michael Yew who was around when Percy was asking Annabeth for a kiss also dies before Rachel arrives in her helicopter.😒
I'd have thought that you just hated women and had low standards for men... if it weren't for how I remember the initial backlash Jason got for taking Piper on a tour of New Rome instead of talking to Reyna.
And yet Percy's actions have never been questioned...
Even when Calypso cursed Annabeth for something Percy did and she had nothing to do with it, Percy's response is to hug Calypso.
.
Cue the song: Traitor by Olivia Rodrigo.
(The lyrics are strangely accurate from both Annabeth and Rachel's perspective)
.
P.s Don't even @ me about how it was stressful times. If he has the time to go on vacation a week before the war and then complain about the campers at Camp HB who did a raid he doesn't even know about, not taking things seriously. If he has the time to ask Annabeth for a kiss and then still act as if Rachel was using him. Then he has the time to not be a douche.

There is a difference!
it makes me so irrationally angry that percy had someone to remember while jason didn’t. like either both percy and jason should have remembered annabeth/reyna or they should have both remembered sally/thalia. like it’s so unfair??
Also one week to write a lab report should only start 1 week after you give us the data. Like you complain about me emailing you 5 times over the weekend it's because the due date is Tuesday. You forgot to send the data till Sunday. I (and you) have other things to do
Y'all I stressed cried in my professor's office last semester when I was confused about an assignment and then got a 60 and 80 which dropped my grade to a B. I also sent my professor a commented version of why I was confused since it worked the first time and that's how I don't forget anything.
I'm not mad that this professor added everything she said in class but never put in writing into her syllabus. I'm upset that she had the nerve to indicate that I was SOLELY the problem.

I just was re-reading The Lost Hero. I just wanted to say a few things people might have forgotten:
Leo thought Mother Earth was Snow White (Or atleast he thought she had flowers in her hair, birds singing around her and rabbits and deer doing her laundry and piper corrected him that it was Snow white)
Jason was NOT jealous of Percy. The only time he compared himself to Percy was when he met Thalia and wondered if she would have searched him the same but he chided himself saying it was not fair on her and she thought he was dead.
Piper was brave. Even though she was hurt a lot of times, She kept moving forward. At one time, she even thought if she were to die she will die fighting beside her friends. Even Thalia liked her.
Jason like Piper not because she is pretty. At times he even thought he didn't really deserve/live up to her. He thought she was magnificent and brave and often praised her for her bravery in hard times.
Guys cut Jason some slack, the boy woke up without knowing who he was or where he was. He tends to get frustated a little.
For people saying Jason is not a real leader, he is. He can negotiate. He keeps his promises. He puts his people before him. The boy even was ready to give his life for others a lotof time. He was a leader in his own way.
Leo was self conscious his whole life. He blamed himself for his mother's death. He had a guilty consciense. He just used his speech as a way to fool people to not know his real hurting self.
Leo was very worried that he will always be unnoticed. He thought he was gonna be the side kick forever (#Captain Valdez)
Leo is not actually stupid. He is actually brilliant and very brave too. Even Hera calls him intelligent
I think they would have tried to bring Teo back if they had the time
I don’t know if this is because I’ve watched too much TV… but I don’t buy Teo’s death.
I mean, sure, if we’d seen him flat-line or stop breathing (or turn the key in ignition and blow up with his car (‘I miss you Jai, your death sucked and it keeps on sucking more with every move your father makes’)) I’d know it’s true. But all we saw was a doctor implying that Arthur’s son is dead and, as established, Henry has his rats everywhere (I don’t exactly know what Henry would gain from making Athur just think Teo’s dead but… 'no body no death’ is a thing).
How old are Joan and Arthur? Teo was born after Arthur's first tour and Teo's 32 at the start of Season 4? Is Arthur 52?
How old is Auggie?
Teo's 32. Presumably he's been looking for his mother's killer since he was 18. So when did Auggie train him? 12 years ago? I thought Auggie was 30. Also how did Auggie enter the CIA blind? Or did Auggie enter the CIA, then go to Iraq?
No one mentions older child privilege
Older child: Gets new car
Youngest: Get 10 year old hand me down
Older: It's okay, you're just not good at this.
Youngest: At least one of my kids needs to be it and you're left.
No Julie leave

Why Sandy is the best

I loved this and the video game scene

Why I never trusted Julie

I love Seth

This is when I was hooked

the writing of Trey Atwood was rubbish. I really liked him and his assault on Marissa was literally nothing like the character that had been in the preceding episodes.
Am I the only one who thinks that Trey Atwood was actually a good person? I always liked him until what he did to Marissa, and always felt like the writters did that just for the storyline. Idk i just always thought it was forced and out of character
Just finished watching The O.C.....
And I have a few thoughts and opinions about the characters and storylines
Ryan Atwood

Not gonna lie, I didn't really care for him the first season, but as the series went on I truly grew to love him. He is beyond loyal and is a damn precious angel. And he is funny despite what anyone says lol. His dry humor and sarcasm >>>> I know most think he's just this brooding character that's meant to save all the women in his life, but he's more than that. He's a great friend to Seth (their relationship was the best one on the show lol). And I know this is an unpopular opinion but he was so great with Taylor. I believe his true self was showcased in their relationship and I loved every bit of it. I have a thing for troubled male characters that deserve better. He fits this category perfectly lol. Also him in season 4 😍
Seth Cohen

Love this character and all his flaws with all my heart. I can admit, he was lowkey self absorbed and selfish at times. To the point where I wanted to punch my screen 💀 but overall, this character has a special place in my heart. He reminds me so much of Stiles Stilinski. Pretty sure he was the blueprint for Stiles lol. Also Adam Brody is so fucking good. This man knows how to play an awkward, sarcastic idiot so perfectly. And I mean idiot in the best way possible lol
Marissa Cooper

I am very indifferent on her tbh. At times I thought she was overly dramatic, but then other times I understood why she was like that. Her friendship with Johnny was very cute. I'm kind of mad they ended it so soon (*cardi b voice* WHAT WAS THE REASON?!!). They would've been a cute pair. Her relationship with Ryan, although very cute at times, was exhausting to watch. I really hate watching the back and forth, breaking up, getting back together storylines. It reminded me of Pacey/Joey. Pacey and Joey, although cute, was exhausting to watch. Her death was so damn unnecessary. They could've easily had her go with her dad and end her story arc there. But I guess the writers needed a way to have Ryan live without her. They're so uncreative.
Summer Roberts

She lowkey reminded me of Brooke Davis. Hard exterior, warm and welcoming interior. Didn't like her at first, but grew to love her. Her and Seth are adorable and aren't your stereotypical popular girl/nerdy boy trope. Like sure, Summer is popular and Seth not so much, but they balanced eachother so well. The upside down Spiderman scene is still iconic.
Taylor Townsend

LOVE. HER. I know this is probably an unpopular opinion, but she is hilarious. She brought out the best in Ryan and I love her for that. She is awkward, weird, and crazy. The best combination tbh.
The Parents
The Cohens - Although messy at times, I enjoyed their story arcs. Minus that bitch that came back and tried to get with Sandy. Their marriage wasn't this picture perfect story and I appreciated it. The way they took Ryan in >>
Julie Cooper - I fucking despised this woman at first. That storyline with Luke was unnecessary and disgusting. Wtf was with the shows in the early 2000s making adults sleep with underage children. Enough! By season 4 I grew to tolerate her and she was lowkey funny at times.
Other thoughts:
- Chris Pratt made guest appearances and I almost threw up
- I wanted a redemption arc for Trey Atwood so bad when he got out of jail. Like why tf did the writers ruin it by having him attack Marissa. I wanted a damn love triangle and we got that tragic shit 💀
- Johnny deserved better!!!!! This poor boy got shit thrown at him left and right.
- There was a brief moment where I lowkey wanted Theresa's kid to be Ryan's. Imagine Ryan with a kid 😭
- Taylor/Ryan > Marissa/Ryan
- "You saved me"

- BE RUNNING UP THAT ROAD, BE RUNNING UP THAT HILL, BE RUNNING UP THAT BUILDING 🎶
- Death Cab, that is all.
- They couldn't cast someone ugly to play Volchok??????
And I will end with this.....
I needed Ryan to take a paternity test
i really hate the pregnant theresa plot, i hate it cause i really think it was ryan’s baby and it never had a change to even to know this
The one funny thing about Daniel is that we get to see him in real time process how fucked the Davenport family tree is. Like yeah, they're actually your siblings because their dad isn't your uncle it's your dad, but your step-cousin is still your step-cousin, and the guy that's torturing you right now is your brother, but not biologically because he's a robot. Also, you're going to have another cousin and this one's related to the step-cousin, but she's also going to be biologically related to you too. Also you have a grandma, but she's allegedly dead.
